What's your view on Dunkley mate? Seemed to be getting a decent number of CBAs but looked a bit off it yesterday.

Kudos to your boys for their efforts yesterday too, that was as good a quarter of footy as we've seen in recent memory.
I'm concerned about his fantasy consistency. 87 as an average is not acceptable but considering he hasn't been the best it's pretty good. Not stuck forward but maybe that would help him if he could pinch some goals lol. Seem to see him just out of the war zone still in the tv screen a lot of the time. Don't really want to trade him out, but I wouldn't be trading him in.

Yeah this is my thinking on him too, just seems to be on the wrong side of the pack or just not quite where the ball drops whenever he's on screen. Looks to be getting from contest to contest reasonably well though so hopefully his luck turns soon.

Suns at Marvel this week probably means you can't trade him out so I'll give him another week to show me something before he gets the flick.

Worpel or Newman?

Looking to trade Witherden to one of them, as he does not look like the go-to option coming out of defence for the Lions. It also allows me to do Hore to LDU.

Good to hear a supporter say this, watched the last quarter and he seemed to be in the mids. Heatmap shows similar. Tackles seem down, maybe Libba getting the tap out more and he is playing a team role.

Goldcoast, Carlton and Freo 3 of next 4 games, will hold. Last year did Dahl to Mclean in round 4 which was a winning move, doesn't feel the same yet.

Daniel, Had him preseason, changed to Dunkley and it bothers me
I like both Daniels, one usually gets tagged though and the other (little fella in the cap) will possibly attract one if he keeps racking up the ball off of HB/MID and using it as well as he does.

If i get worried out of Heeney i am going one of two ways. Moore fwd then Heeney>Lloyd via dpp rookie or Heeney to Daniel and bank the cash.
The Lloyd option seems much safer.

Only going to make this trade if Heeney is out injured and Bailey Scott is dropped:

Heeney down to Darcy Moore
Bailey Scott to Rocky

42k in the bank

Vs

Heeney down to Worpedo
Bailey Scott to Cousins/LDU or Hore to Moore

90-50k in the bank

I like option 1 better. I’m not sold on Worpel and although mids should be scoring better at that position than a forward I still think Rockliff will score a fair bit better than a Worpel IF HE STAYS HEALTHY.

Moore is nearly a must have imo as well.

Although in saying that I don’t know if I’d move on Scott even if he is out. If he is out it would likely be because he played with gastro on the weekend and can still be looped with Constable and Butters and then possibly return in round 4.

I just think he has poor job security and prospects if dropped, the roos have a lot of depth in their side and he’s pick 40, so could be in for a VFL run. If Hore is still out I reckon I’ll focus on him because the chances he gets enough games to generate cash would seem patricularly poor.

Also considering Caleb Daniel over Worpel but I hate the idea of Bevo shifting him forward at some stage. Everybody is talking about these two weeks but not realising he averaged 102 in his last 4 games last year in the same role.

Whichever position you need filled most out of fwd/backs. Both solid options with Kelly 5+ points better i think.
Heeney is the man to go if named out

Both my lines seem fairly weak
Whitefield Williams Smith Moore rooks
And
Danger Heeney Darling Worpel rooks

looking at it though my fwds look a tad lighter and I do fancey Kelly just as well

Can’t see him averaging 100 with Liberatore in the side. Don’t want to trade him out but Kelly appears the must forward I don’t have. Haven’t used any trades, none other planned, so I am happy with that trade. Every man (person/entity) and his (person/entity) dog has Heeney so we will all sink or swim for a while unless you pull the pin.

Will hold Heeney if he is out, have Drew to play for him. Aside from Kelly, not many options to replace him with.

TKelly vs Crisp
via Moore switch
Crisp probably safer but less upside. Kelly less proven but likely to score more and be closer to top ranked on his line.

If you're confident Kelly hasn't just had two of his higher mid minute weeks ... and is therefore set to play forward more soon ... I'd go him.

Option 1 for sure. D.Moore is very valuable. I've been sold on him all preseason.
