Libba & Lloyd
vs
Marshall & Neale
The first one by a fair bit. Libba has a more secure role and place in the team than Marshall, and Lloyd is basically a lock to be a top def (assuming they don’t start tagging him) whereas no one seemed to be predicting that for Neale until very recently.

Strong chance I’m about to trade in Libba, but I’d say Rocky, who I traded in last week. Rocky seems to have the more consistent and more improved role from what I understand, and has shown a much higher season-long ceiling than Libba.
Thanks. I have Brouch and think it has to be at most one out of Libba and Rocky. Libba would have to be this week, but Can decide on Rocky over next two weeks given his low score is now in his average. ?

I keep looking at the replays of what Neale has been doing at centre clearances ... pretty much whatever he wants and setting up his team mates left, right and centre ... they seem to have adpated to the rule changes very well .... but if I was looking to shut a BRI player down at the moment Neale is on the top of my list ... even at the expense of Zorko ... not a real lot to lose ...

Yeo vs Cogs

Who scores more from here for the rest of the year? Are either of them a chance to be a top 10 mid from here in?
Yeo has a tasty run coming up; Cogs looks great this year except when he gets tagged, then he looks awful

Brisbane have Pies, Suns and Swans. Expect Swans will tag him, Suns haven't tagged since playing Fyfe and Greenwood was omitted last game.

Without doing a lot of digging I'd say Daniel. There's a possibility - I stress possibility - that he's an elite forward this year in his new role. Check out a post I made today in the round six trades thread for details. Crisp a durable and safe pick, but probably not one that gains a lot of ground for you unless the top defs fall away, which feels unlikely.

Cogs more chance of being top 10. Reckon he has been a bit underscored the last few weeks, 37 touches and a goal v Freo for 100 seems low, that is a bit concerning.

Caleb Daniel v Jack Crisp?
Daniel. Think he's more likely to be top 6-8 in his position.

Lloyd v Whitfield?
Lloyd.

Laird 522k v Sicily 543k v B Smith 402k
i like Laird of that lot, especially at that price. hasnt had a great start but his history is hard to ignore.
Milera out may give him a little boost in the short term.
I dont trust Sicily (or Clarko) so that scares me off him and Smith wont be a premo defender at years end.

assuming both are selected
Ross v's Lockhart

Ross the better scorer but j/s is iffy.
Lockhart also allows me to push him into defence next week and downgrade a rookie defender for a mid (of course a lot has to go right for this scenario to be relevant.)

If you’re only getting one near term, Lloyd - slightly dearer but a lock to be a top def from here in my view.

If you’re getting both near term, maybe Boak first given their BEs.

Worpel v Gunston?

Gunston has been very consistent over the years and has dropped in price now. Worpel is playing inside mid but is also a second year player and the season is long...
