Glad I only put the VC on him then I guess.

Ended up doing these trades this week:

Whitbread > H.Young
Bateman > RTS (via CNK move to CTW)

Decided to bite the bullet and offload Bateman for the time being. He should come down a bit in price when he eventually comes back so hopefully get him around 50-60K cheaper. RTS is one I want in my end team so I figured I'd just grab him now while the cash is there.

No this is a first for NRL. Don't know how long it will last as I expect Suncorp to be an utter wreck by the end of it. Don't be surprised if we see more injuries this weekend due to uneven footing and the like.

As far as I'm aware this is the inaugural Magic Round.

I'll likely keep him by switching Tolman on in the FR and with J Taumalolo coming in next week this will push Burgess to the bench replacing Tolman as a reserve.

I thought I heard something during the week that they were playing all games in Queensland , then checked and it is Suncorp.

You are correct , want to be a great surface to hold up with that many games.

Surprised the clubs agreed to it.

Probably could get away with 2 in Townsville , 2 on the Gold Coast and the rest in Brisbane.

For those that were looking at the replacement for Andrew McCullough as an option in hooker, Segeyaro has now been drafted into the broncos squad and is a huge chance of being the sole hooker.

If you are looking for an upgrade in your hooker position, he is the one to look at currently. Cut price and an absolute gun in SuperCoach when he plays big minutes. Obviously wait until he is named though (I’m very confident he will be though).
