Now that Rocky is out do I hold Balta and move Rockliff to Macrae instead of stick with the original move?

I’ll still have 17 playing if Rockliff, Scott and Young all miss..

Is it worth getting Balta’s score for an 18th and moving Rockliff on?

I only have 12 trades before this week and used 2 on Clark + Answerth to Naish + Clarke, so 10 left.

Rockliff to Macrae and get Balta’s score and pocket the 250k in the bank

Balta to Macrae and cop a donut?

I think long term you have to go Balta to Macrae. Rockliff to Macrae feels too sideways, plus Balta feels like he's about to drop a stack of cash.

PLUS... Rocky could turn into a reasonable POD.. a lot have traded him out already, he is still very undervalued and has been scoring very well when not injured

Caleb Daniel vs. Darcy Parish as a trade in target this week?

The bombers have finally played Parish in the mids for the last 2 games and he has gone 130+, and I feel like the bombers will play him on ball because he has shined. Buuutttt Shiel and Stringer/Fantasia are back and i'm not sure he will get as much on ball time.

Hard to see Rocky playing every game (after this week) based on past history, so would be a negative pod vs fully upgraded midfields.

Different to Whitfield who is definite top 2/3 defender when on the park. Rocky is probably a 15-20 ranked midfielder.

I don't disagree but I guess that when you have that extra trade on hand (which i do), it's a risk reward proposition that I'm comfortable with... chances are he ends up being upgraded in a month or so anyway...

Ball usage and vision from the backline is elite. Watching him play against the Eagles was very encouraging. A thing of beauty that ball delivery

Daniel for sure... Because he has a clear position in the team that has all their best players playing. I really don't think parish will remain in the bombers midfield.

Probably been said but I think Balta has to go. Will probably lose a lot of money tonight. All the good work undone really quickly. I think trading out Rockliff is a luxury trade more than a necessity.

I'm thinking Steele, Balta and Stocker this week to Bewley, Gardner and Dunkley - moving Danger into the mids and banking 282k.

Next week, depending on if Clarke plays, I'll trade Baker to Clarke and upgrade Stack to Neale.

Leaves me with Walsh and Hore as my last two rookies on field.

Not much talk about Matt Crouch... price is below 500k and had a massive second half of the year last year! Is this because it’s his bye Rd 14 so people are waiting until then? I’m looking at Bont v Crouch for my M7 with C Oliver coming in next week for the final mid spot

So who are your forwards if danger is a midfielder?

I kind of think that having a forward as a midfielder is wasted because the mids tend to score higher. No evidence to back it up, just something i feel happens. I know Danger Kelly and Dunkley score like midfielders, but having them as forwards is a bonus. A quality m8 generally scores better than a quality f6.

Probably the reason I'm not going to bring in Heeney AND Boak, when i feel at his price, Heeney is a steal.

Yeah I'm seriously looking at him. Thinking about him instead of a Sicily/Ryan In defence and grab Hurn and Whitfield instead.

I'm pretty certain I am bringing him in after Round 14.

Will wait an extra game and will look to bring him in then. Definitely on my radar. Bont at 543 is a bit expensive, I think he can do down further.

I expect he's just parking Danger in the mids this week with his bye before putting him back as part of next weeks upgrades.. I had Dunkley sitting in my mids last week for that reason...

Hey folks.

Got to get in a new premium with Steele out for 6 weeks or so. This week I can either squeeze in a couple of speculative picks, or spend decent cash and get one player with better pedigree this year.

I'm looking for a MID or FWD, and my current 'premiums' on each line are as follows:

MID: Neale, Cripps, Macrae, Fyfe, OIiver, Zorko

FWD: Dangerfield, Kelly, Heeney, Westhoff. Darling

As is evidenced, a couple of those names are a tier below, but with trades running low I might have to accept having them for the season.

With DPP and the byes, I could bring in, by trading out Steele, Answerth and Clark:

Option 1: Boak, Logue, Naish
Option 2: Bontempelli, Logue, Naish
Option 3: Marshall, Gray, Naish/Logue
Option 4: Boak, Gray, Hayden/Chol

These are a few options I have considered - is Josh Dunkley worth considering? Is Josh Kelly someone to pencil in post-bye?
