I'd probably wait for Whitfield then, depending on how confident you are that you can get both Whitfield and gawn next week. If there's a solid chance you'll fall short then I would just get laird and not risk it.
I would actually say JPK with Sydney improving lately but with Jelly out Taranto could fire up again also, he usually does when one of the big guys misses.
Ends up being Fyfe/Kelly that gets skipped over mate. I've been thinking about this a bit overnight and I'm still not sure which way to go. The extra injury trade is likely the best way to go and a POD midfielder is my best chance of salvaging a decent rank for the year. However it's not inconceivable that Fyfe could go on a 130 tear for the next 6 weeks and just really lay the boot in.
Will have to ponder this one over the next few hours a bit more heavily.
Decided to go the cheaper option but having trouble deciding between Merrett vs JPK vs Gaff vs Crouch vs Duncan. So many good options at that price point.

Fair call. I was going to say that I’d be tossing up Merrett vs Fyfe in that situation. Fyfe more likely to hurt you, in both directions. Merrett the lower risk option and normally very durable.

Yeah its a tough one, Fyfe could either score more points than anyone else in the come the next month or ping an elbow before quarter time this week. As i said earlier i need a POD to try and make some ground so i reckon its either Zerrett or Gaff. Dont suppose you have a preference do you?

In SC I’d say Merrett - he’s maybe 10ppg off being absolutely elite, which is pretty good, and other than with tags early last year, he’s reliable. Maybe Gaff if it was DT.
