If it's just a downgrade you don't really want to have to be playing the recruit or DC or JH. I'd therefore wait for the potential price increase in Clarke and Hately. That said, get the $ from Clarke if absolutley needed, but otherwise trade Hately in heartbeat. The material difference in JS is worth something...
Thanks.

Therefore for the final 2 trades do you think grabbing Marshall or forgoing Marshall is the better option.

Grabbing him means Clarke and Setterfield are sacrificed for Marshall and Langlands and allows a fwd/mid to play in place of J Kelly this week so D Clarke, etc isn’t a replacement and no rookies are on field. Then for the remainder of the season Hoff is relegated to the bench due to Marshall’s arrival and the dpp mid allows me to cover 2 lines for potential injuries.

Forgoing Marshall means I keep Setterfield as cover and potentially Clarke with Menegola/Ziebell/fwd-mid replacing Hately/Hind and pushing the Hoff to the bench or a fwd above 500,000 if Clarke goes. Provides more cover than the aforementioned option in case of injuries.

Not bothered about preserving trades or leagues.

I'll drop some beers off at the NTLC, although I don't think you should go there, it's a bit a dive from what I've heard. But if I was looking for company there I'd hang out with Marshall I've heard he can go completely off.

Sounds great and I usually frequent the club around the same time each year (Rd18-21). Hadn’t considered grabbing Marshall at the expense of both Clarke and Setterfield but it closes 1 of my negative PODS as I don’t own Marshall or Dunkley but I had chances this season to grab both under 500,000 (Dunkley in RD8 but grabbed Hoff and Marshall Rd 13 but grabbed Daniel who is now Mundy due to his injury).

Still will have Logue covering the defs, Hately and Hind in the mids and Langlands for the fwds and mids along with the Hoff with the fwd and rucks whilst greatly improving my scoring ability if Marshall is selected. The alternative is to keep both rookies and use Hately to grab Langlands and then utilise the cash for Hind to Ziebell/Menegola either in Rd21 or 22 but means I’ll still have to play the Hoff and a rookie whilst Kelly is absent, whilst not providing a large on-field upgrade and potentially an excessive bench of Logue for the defs, Clarke for the mids, Langlands and Setterfield for the fwds and mids and Westhoff for the fwds and rucks.

Leaning towards the Marshall option currently.

Tuohy to Heath Shaw worth a look this week?

Leaves me with 1 trade and 70k in the bank.

Shaw has a great average against his remaining opponents is about 100k underpriced and allows me a trade for injuries to close out the year with Clarke at M9 cover.

Alternatively can do Clarke to Langlands and Tuohy to Whitfield but 0 trades for any injuries and would be requiring rookies to cover for on field injuries outside of Gawn or Grundy who would have only Fort for cover.

Ryan to Howe
Clarke to Hawkins
Once Josh Kelly back I can loophole Gray and Hawkins. Gray is effectively my M8 although will swap him to fwd line for looping.

Weather in Perth mixed today, have double chance in my leagues though

Hi all,

Any help appreciated.

It is basically

A) Whitfield in and play Burgess to cover Cameron
Or
B) Trade Cameron for Marshall and miss out on Whitfield

3 trades and my defence is ordinary

B: BSmith, Lloyd, Hartlett, Shepherd, Duursma, Andrews (Logue, Answerth)

Hmm 3 trades left & i’m keen to move Harris Andrews on, only $8500 in the kitty. No one decent at the $398/- level, is it worth using 2 trades to bring Hurn in?

Leagues the only focus

My defence is Whitfield, Houli, Lloyd, Laird, Smith, Andrews

Wish I could get rid of him

I’d take the best you can afford for Andrews in one trade...

I reckon option A - haven’t found much info on Cameron, hoping it’s not worse than 1-2 weeks

Depending on how my opponent’s players score tonight I made need to trade in a forward of up to $476k who plays tomorrow. Currently have Bobby Hill on bench for 53. Any suggestions?

Reckon if youre not confident, pull the trigger tonight. Lots of good options get locked out from tonights games.

@Rowsus Hey mate I'm posting an update in this thread (my post continued on from your thread) so others could chip in with their opinion too!

Hey everyone, need a bit of advise and your thoughts on the below situation!

Currently I'm 233 points behind my opponent this week in my H2H matchup. He has Macrae (C) and C.Daniel left to play.
I have Hurn, Cripps, Macrae, Answerth & Setterfield left to play. If I take Gawn's VC score from last night I will be 99 points behind him.

My questions are:
1. Should I take Gawn's VC score? I'm worried that Macrae will get 150+ again. Or should I make Macrae or Grundy as C?
2. If trade Setterfield to Yeo, will it give me a highly likely chance of winning the matchup? Or should I just accept defeat save it for next week?!

Currently have 3 trades left. If I trade in Yeo, I will have 2 trades and pretty much no cash remaining going into next week.
If I lose this matchup, I'll still make it through to next week as I finished 4th in my main cash league.
