The captaincy plot thickens ... bearish for Head?!

If Finch is unfit, there is the strong likelihood that the wicketkeeper Carey will lead Australia for the first time, after his leadership credentials were strongly endorsed by the selection chairman Trevor Hohns, who has gone as far as to say that he would like to see the South Australian leading the Redbacks in place of Travis Head.

Might do a Lee Germon and be named Test captain on his Test Debut at this rate , been pushing him for the last 12 months.

Interestingly many rate Nielsen a better keeper in SA , so not sure he is even the best keeping option for the Test team.

Wish they actually allowed these players to see if they can perform at Test level , before talking about them as future leaders.

Captaining the Giants at TAC Cup level wasn't enough to save his AFL career.

Thought they were grooming Head for the captaincy.

Haven't seen where they have added a extra batsmen to the Squad either.

Talk was Carey @ 6 and Agar @ 7 , so I guess McDermott would just come in for Finch , not sure if he would open though with Warner , maybe Maxwell opens.

Death bowling specialist AJ Tye ruled out of T20I series as Finch confirms fitness

Tye failed to take part in Saturday’s training session, jogging laps while bouncing a football as the team completed their fielding on the Adelaide Oval outfield.

The West Australian injured his elbow while fielding on Friday, with Cricket Australia to announce a replacement player over the next 48 hours, who will join the squad ahead of the second game in Brisbane.

need Jayasuriya & Kahlua with milk to make a comeback , struggling to recognise most of their team with the exception of Malinga.

Glad 7 is advertising they are the home of cricket again this summer but don't show these games on FTA.
