Would Morris still play the second game of his DGR? Given his strong form he seems still worth it as a single game player to start and hold for the year.

Good news this morning with Morris’ team finally losing a game. With that his team has dropped to 2nd on the ladder. Morris again scored well with 61 SC.

He's been the beneficiary of the Heat having poor bowling stocks for sure, but even Laughlin isn't assured of a game given his age and form. Can only really see Swepson pushing one of the other bowlers out to give the Heat another specialist spin option, don't think they can justify subbing Lalor/Laughlin for Steketee or Prestwidge.

I imagine Laughlin was about to be squeezed out of the Strikers, and the Heat have promised him a guaranteed starting spot.

Definitely think they rate Steketee over Lalor. And I say that having been knocked over for 0 by Lalor on multiple occasions.

I've always thought Ellis is a very nothing bowler, can't for the life of me figure out how he's getting so many poles. Reckon he'll probably start for Hurricanes but go the distance.

Nielsen is probably the other option who will play when Carey leaves for India , otherwise just grab a cheap $ 42,000.00 if you want to play the VC/C loop.

Pat Brown dearer again could work until he arrives.

Think Archer is still available to select if you have a lot of spare cash.?

Correct , probably out of him and 5/6 others for the final spot in the XI , I am now giving up on predicting starting lineups (too many unknowns still to consider)

Personally I think you need to play the BE game with him and hope his price may drop.

As good as he is (was) still very expensive for a specialist batsmen.

Haven't yet looked at his game by game performances in the MSL.

My start side is currently 4 Sixers, 3 Thunder, 3 Heat and Q. Ahmad. Herbie do you or others have info on how
Traeger Park plays, in particular spin? I cannot find any info on how this ground plays apart from problems with the outer
some seasons ago.

Hard to get a read with only one game played there in BBL. but spin did well R.Khan 1/15 (4), Bosisto 1/9 (2) & A.Agar 3/19 (4)

Is Laughlin still SC relevant and will the Gabba pitch suit him ...

- We all know how he bowls ... wide yorkers etc ... but is that so old school now ?

Could make a case he does struggle at the Gabba. while getting a wicket 4/6 games he does go for a lot of runs and doesn't bat.
