I think 'ignore' for Fyfe is a little too strong and fraught with danger. I'm not saying he's a lock but he'll be one I'll definately consider throughout the Marsh series. The guy is the one of the best players and supercoach players in the league and like someone said about Jelly yesterday, this is one guy that makes me nervous both when in and when out of my team.

Not sure I'd call last year a spike year either when he's already had two seasons above 120 previously, last season may have been a spike season for Dunkley?

It's just whether you can fit him in with the other options, but in 6 weeks not all those options might be viable.

Yeah fair enough, just a bit of a meme for me to be Anti-Fyfe this pre-season.

If Fyfe was $20-50k cheaper I'd be singing a different tune.

after doing a bit of research on Josh Kelly I found out that when he scores big either a major midfielders injured in game or doesn't play so im sure he's still a good pick but apart from either or both things mentioned

He also tends to beat up on the lesser teams.
Hasn't put up a 120+ against a top 8 team since 2017.

Scores over 120 in 2017;
Suns 17th - 120
Pies 13th - 147
Bombers 7th - 176
Hawks 12th - 134
Dees 9th - 127
Dogs 10th - 132
WC 8th - 144

Average against top 8 teams - 112 from 10 / 111.3 from 13 including finals.

Scores over 120 in 2018;
Suns 17th - 146
Lions 15th - 149
Port 10th - 130
Saints 16th - 130
Blues 18th - 205

Average against top 8 teams - 92.16 from 6 (not including the injury 18 in finals)

Scores over 120 in 2019;
Hawks 9th - 154
Blues 16th - 134
Dees 17th - 148
Suns 18th - 138 (these 4 games were in a row)
Kangaroos 12th - 128
Suns 18th - 124

Average against top 8 teams - 100.2 from 5 / 100.22 from 9 including finals.

Probably worth having a look into his draw and how well you reckon GWS are going to go if you are thinking of starting him.

But I do think that GWS could go globetrotters on some teams this year, so it's not a bad thing.
And he just never puts out any really bad scores, which is incredible considering how often he breaks down.

Yeah this is an interesting one, Bonar with his forward eligibility is slightly in front for me and also the fact that it seems Wills and Sier are really battling it out for that one spot in the Pies round 1 line-up.

I'm sure Bonar is fighting for a spot also, maybe Jed Anderson but not sure but this is one that the Marsh series will work out for me.
Here is what I was referring to re: Bonar

"Now Bonar has Davies-Uniacke, Jed Anderson and another former GWS first-round pick in Paul Ahern for competition"

The rest of your team must be filled with rookies who aren't going to play! No way you can spend that much in the mid and not compromise the rest of your team.
I dont have brander which many do!

2019 Draft rookies are 4 def, 4 mids (excl marlon) and 3 fwd.

Could cut a Whitfield down to Walters if needing cash.

Dylan Stephens looks tempting, dont have cash for him yet.

No no no no no no no.

Whitfield is not 100% with that ankle surgery but DO NOT trade him to Walters. Walters beat his previous best SC average by 11 points last year and he'll be 29. It's likely he'll go between fwd and midfield as Freo look to blood some young guns in the midfield. That is the definition of a spike season.

Literally do anything else.

Didn't realise Cripps dropped 7.8 fantasy average and was down on most stats last year compared to 2018 yet only dropped 2.3 SC average. Pretty impressive and makes me think there is more upside to him than I initially did - probably from learning how to deal with taggers.

Really annoyed. Had him in the office and had a quick chat. By the time I was free to talk again he had gone off to another area. Couldnt ask about the body. Much smaller than I thought in body size. So different to JPK who we also see.

Are you sure Walters is going forward?

Could take him down to Devon. Reduces me to 9 prems (albeit expensive ones) houston doc and smith. Will allow other upgrades to expensive rookies if needed.

Sounds fine. Most have Doch and Houston is as good a breakout contender as any.

12-13 potential keepers is a fine side.
