What are people’s thoughts on Titch’s likely fitness base and the possibly impact on his TOG and possible “rests” during the season?
Played 61% TOG in Marsh 1 which it totally understandable as I’m sure the Hawks are just trying to ease him in. But, once the real thing starts, should we expect him to have a fitness base which will allow him to run out full games strongly or is he likely to be a bit underdone? If underdone, what impact might this have on his ceiling?
Also, what are the chances that he will be given a week off “here & there” to freshen him up or to manage soreness and not put too much stress on his leg?
He certainly looked pretty good the other night, but will it take him a bit of time to get back to 100%
It's a serious injury he is coming back from, it likely will take him a while to get back to full fitness.
$630K is a lot to spend. Compare that to $700K for Gawn or Grundy. At full fitness in 2018 he has shown he can match their scoring. You just need to ask yourself are you willing to pay that much for a player that may only be 90-95% fit for a few weeks as he gains match fitness.
I'm no expert on leg injuries, and I don't have any inside info at all that nobody else here wouldn't already know, but I haven't heard anything about him missing matches. I do expect he may be rested slightly more than usual in the first few rounds of the season, but not to a significant level.
He's in my team and has been since I knew he would be playing all the pre-season games. I don't see any bigger risk with him than any of the other premium mids. He's underpriced if anything.
(Note: I'm a Hawks supporter and terrible at SC - use your own judgement).
