Wow! My immediate reaction was that I would lay him probably even at longer odds.
The main thing holding me back would be his edit.
Hard to see how he even gets to the final without winning challenges though?
Also can anyone explain:
- how the final three works, and
- why at some Tribal Councils they vote a second time when there’s a tie, at others they go to fire, and the other night they nearly went to rocks?! I’m sure there’s a simple explanation but I must have missed it.
So basically for the Australian final 3, they have one last immunity challenge and the winner of that votes out one of the other two and ultimately decides who they get to sit with at the final 2. I've said it for years that the Australian version needs to follow the US version and make it a final 3 to sit with a jury instead of 2 because that last challenge is always a brutal physical challenge and if you aren't good at that but you've played the best game of survivor the whole season... you're basically no chance of winning.
So in case of a tie. Let's use the Jacqui and Mo example from last week. It was 4-4 on the first vote so now Jacqui and Mo aren't allowed to vote on the re-vote... and the others are only allowed to vote for Jacqui or Mo.
If on the re-vote it's a tie again... They get one last chance to vote out one of Jacqui or Mo but it needs to be unanimous by the remaining 6 ppl. On the night it ended up being unanimous. But let's just say fpr example that they couldn't get it to be unanimous. It would mean that Jacqui and Mo automatically become immune to being voted out and anyone who have immunities necklace/idols are also immune. So the remaining 4 people would have to draw rocks. Person who picks the odd rock (normally a white rock) goes home.
Normally fire only happens when there is a final four when the vote is split 2-2. However the other night, it was a twist that has never occurred in any survivor that I can recall from memory where they asked if anyone thinks they are at risk... the first person to put their hand up gets to go to fire but if they don't win, they go home. (the 2nd person who was chosen to challenge against AK was safe from being eliminated)
Hope that answers your question. Always happy to answer any survivor related questions. ?
