My PERSONAL favourite top 5 songs of all time.
The first two are my all time classics that I grew up with as a teenager and still play, sing along and get pumped up by till this day. No need to link to them as I'm sure you all know them:
- Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana.
- Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.
The next one is due to getting the most enjoyment from me with my kids over a few years. I play it when I want to hype up the kids, they love it and my act I do with them. The song starts slowly and I am acting saying "this song is so slow, its so boring" and I pretend to start to fall asleep on the couch. Then as the music start to pick up grab my kids I start saying "Oh Oh, Ogh Oh" and have my eyes come alight, start to get pumped up, and the kids start to laugh as they know what about to happen. As the music goes full on, I suddenly jump in the air and go full on ballistic/mental with the kids, jumping around and dancing like a crazy man throwing the kids in the air etc. The kids love it. Then when the tempo drops off again I go back to the couch and almost fall asleep saying the song is so boring etc, before it start to pick up a second time and goes full on again when I do the same act a second time!!!!
- Shot me Down by David Guetta featuring Skylar Grey
Next I had to put down one of my personal "pump up songs". I have quite a few, from Sandstorm by Durante, Animals by Martin Garrix, Levels by Avicci, and many others. However I have gone with the following song as I have a trigger response to it reminding me of some awesome fun events I have been too.
- Let's Go by Calvin Harris featuring Ne-Yo
Finally, just a beautiful song by one of the best singers in the world. In my single days this was often the song and singer I had playing when wanting to set the general mood, lol
- Con Te Partiro by Andrea Borcelli
I like both his version by himself in Italian, as well as the part Italian part English duet version with Sarah Brightman, Time to Say Goodbye. Along with See the Bombers fly up I would want this song playing at my funeral. Here is the duet version in a concert:
