CSA has appointed Graeme Smith as Director of Cricket.

One of the first things he said was QDK won't be the Test captain.

O’Reilly was captain and Lindwall had just taken a wicket, O’Reilly asked him to take a rest to which the young quick was mystified and said “I just took a wicket?!” To which O’Reilly replied “I’ll get them quicker.”

He promptly took whatever wickets were left on offer in the next over, more than justifying the decision.
