I always liked this 'Eleanor Rigby' cover version by Australian group, Zoot.
Zoot became one the most popular Australian bands of the second ‘pop wave’ of the late ‘Sixties. Two of the more notable members of Zoot were founder Beeb Birtles (Gerard Bertlekamp), who also founded the Little River Band in 1975 and Rick Springfield who, after moving to the United States in 1972, achieved international fame as a solo artist, songwriter and actor. Lead singer is Darryl Cotton.

Nice song. They have a bit of ‘Boy and Bear’ sound to them ... I might play one of theirs if timing of a letter permits!
