Simpson vs Parfit vs Florent
Simpson (I assume you mean Kade) is getting a bit old and his scores seem to be dropping off, Parfitt has let me down previously, so I would pick Florent of the 3. Started well and don't see why he can't keep up a decent average.

If it wasn't for Sam Walsh the media would have been all over Bailey Smith instead. He looks like the next midfield monster. I really want to trade him in but am unsure of the mix at the Doggies.
What do you think Kidult? Does Bevo love him?
Superdraft in 10 years looking back Walsh,Rozee,King twins,Smith,Hately,Thomas,Rankine(if he keeps on the park) and Blakey at this stage.

I'm a sucker for a breakout midfielder with a Fwd next to their name.
I have Dusty, Petracca, Dev Smith and TJ Lynch.
Smith and Lynch are either bargain F5 and F6 or looping F7 or stepping stone. So I'm looking at 2, maybe 3 more spots.
Whitfield with a price drop is on the watch list.
I'm wary of Walters missed games and Chris Scott continually says he will rest Ablett.
Heeney with a massive price drop could make it in but not fully priced playing forward in a poor team.
Rozee is a great talent but has just had 2 of his best scores for the year in big wins and is only a part timer in Port's midfield at the moment.
De Goey has the right role but is struggling, maybe poor conditioning.
Bailey Smith and Simpkin are the only 2 I can see that might fill a forward spot.
I can always leave a spot open and take a chance on a fallen premium. Heeney might be the one if he drops below $400k.
Jack Steven I think will become vital as that swing F7 M9 come the back end at the cost he is even missing a few games to get him through.

hey guys, needing to decide on who to trade in out of:

Trent Rivers vs Darcy Cameron

the player will be on bench anyway, but who would you guys recommend would have the better job security and money making potential?

They both don't bring any confidence but I don't have any other options. Second trade will be to bring in Pittonet.

Thanks

Traded down Dusty to Sturt last night.

Planning to bring in Gawn now and can achieve that using either Brodie Smith or Naismith.

Brodie Smith looks a poor choice averaging 56 and struggling to find the footy in the midfield but has Gold Coast this week. Will leak cash if held. Will mean an extra rookie on field (Starcevich or Rivers)

Naismith injured but set to make cash when he returns.

What should I do?

Tough choice, If you have Grundy, Gawn plus Naismith that is a lot of money.

preference is to move B Smith on, however, you lose the optionality of his score upside. Downside is if he scores like a rookie again, you lose $40k.

I moved Smith on for Pittonet and whilst I could upgrade Houston prefer to grab Cameron for now.

Will be interesting to see if the Dusty trade pays off.

No idea on JS, I have both and expect at least one will get dropped at some point. Cameron had the better R2 score I believe, so would assume he will score better based on that?

Dump Smith out of those two options.

Two most essential of D Cameron, Sturt and Pittonet?

Thinking maybe leave out Darcy... worst JS maybe?
That's my thinking too.
If Sean Darcy is back next week, who goes out. Sturt at 189cm is a mid size fwd, whilst Lobb, Tab and Hogan are taller and weigh 20kgs more. Would those three be two tall or the right experience they would want.

Aiming to get rid of Houston & Long this week (bar selections), tossing up between:
1. Fyfe & Williamson or 2. Simpkin & Doedee

Williamson has never really shown much in 18 games. Fyfe is one you definitely want, but I would expect Simpkin and Doedee to comfortably be the better combo. Simpkin looks a keeper and Doedee should score much better than Williamson.
