Luke McDonald is the interesting one. Having played in the VFL and trained with the Roos this year you would think would give him a better chance of forcing his way into the Roos side than other draftees. Note - I have no idea how good he is!

At pick 8 (Most likely via Father Son) though he will be priced a bit more than the normal rookies. (For SC that is)

I keep forgetting about Stringer
How he is amazing!!!! Was shattered he went so early. Going to be a superstar. Was there when he played his second game against us and kicked 3 very nice goals (one or two big barrels from around 50) and was super impressed. He is all class and IMO will be second best player from last years draft (after Thurlow of course :p).

Hell of alot of discounted players next year. Could make your team great or crash and burn

True. Going to try and fit in all of Bock, Waters, Suckling, Polec, Tyson, Karnezis, D.Simpson and D.Beams in my starting team :p. Huge risk but good potential especially if Karnezis and Polec start getting real game time (which they should at new clubs).

Where has Karnezis ended up?

There are also rumours that he is meeting with Essendon as well. Of course he could be meeting a few Clubs.
I remember Richmond being very interested midseason as well. Would be highly sought after you'd think.

The Kangas are going to be a threat next year if they manage to snare Del Santo and Chapman.
Right now Harvey gets the No.1 Tag most games but could be free to play his own game if those 2 join.
With rapid improvements in Ziebell, Bastinac and Cunnington together with key mids Swallow and Wells, the Roos could well be the top midfield team in 2014.

Already boasting a dangerous forward line of Thomas, Petrie, Black, and Hansen, add the Majakstic Daw into the mix.
They have the best Ruckman in the League and the best standby Ruckman as well.

In Defence, they still have the mainstays; Thompson, Firrito, and Grima plus some younger talent in the Delaney brothers, Sierakowski, Mullett and Atley.

Underestimate the Kangas in 2014 at one's peril

Liam anthony.

I dont no much about him apart from he's 40% down on his average from 2012 where he averaged 97 and has only played 5 games this year.

Any north supporters out there that think he can sument a regular spot in 2014 and is he in the best 22

North Melb.
As a north supporter, I am very excited about next season and beyond! I am by no means a die hard, passionate fan, that goes every week, but we will surprise a lot of teams next season.

Our forward line is one of the strongest in the league, but does fly under radar a lot! The 3 talls are very hard to match up on as we have seen in the past with hawks, syd and wc. Our mids are developing very very nicely! A lot of youth with the experience of harvey, wells and co. The swallow injury will hurt but if we acquire dal santo then that is a break even until he returns in the middle of the year. Goldstein is one of the best rucks in the comp, only thing he can't really go forward and kick goals to give him a break and get petrie up the ground more. Our backs are very solid, but we can be a little exposed against teams with 3 talls as Grima is very undersized for CHB.

Zim, I don't know where you heard the hype from last season, but we had one of the hardest draws going into the 2013 season, so it was by no means from north melbourne supporters. The fact that we came so close on so many occasions and to just miss out on the finals is only a good thing for 2014!

Liam Anthony is a strange one. Has a lot of ability but just doesn't find enough of the footy. With our midfield depth I would imagine it will be hard for him to break into the 22 next season. One chappy, I would much prefer we got another key back even if it was for a year or 2 instead of another mid/fwd. Chappy is a star and I certainly wouldn't say no, but if it came down to him or say a Darren Glass/Ben Rutton type, the key backs certainly would help our structure more

Some interesting speculation I heard today.

Nick Roo to North may amazingly happen and don't discount Neil Craig turning up at Essendon for coaching duties....

Why would Rooey go to North when they have Petrie, Black and Tarrant???
