Yeah I don't actually mind the idea, it does seem like a waste to have Pittonet on the bench (although served me well last round with Gawn missing).

If there was some way I could translate that into maybe 1 Def and 1 Mid/Forward I probably would.

Maybe Grundy/Pickett > Andrews/Simpkin?
I guess it depends on whether you end up getting compromised keepers though , Simpkin certainly seems the flavour of the week (rightly so)

Im thinking Bailey Smith over Simpkin right now with Dunks out, hoping for even more midfield exposure. Although trying to work a plan to get both this week.

Now watch old mate magnets plonk Smith at full back, English on the wing, McRae full forward and libba gets ruck duties :p:p

Like it. Have you considered Ridley? (100k cheaper than Andrews and has the extra game potentially)

I think my issue is that Ridley is still speculative, and I don't know if I'd want to trade Grundy for 2 "potential" premiums. I don't know if the risk outweighs the reward. Simpkin I can accept because I think a lot of players will jump on so at least that risk is shared.

I'm going to wait for team selections, and probably just double down and hope I don't get burned this week. I've got some tougher league matchups so it could be an important week for me.

Hopefully Geogiades is named, and I will likely go 2 of Sturt/Noble/Pickett > Geogiades/Williamson

Well Libba does have ruck experience rucking for Macau in the AFL Asia Cup in the 2016 Off-season, lol

What happened to Grundy being set and forget this season. Everyone now jumping off (or at least thinking about it)..
I know crazy huh....I still can't believe I am considering trading him out. Pittonet is the main reason...I want his points on field if I bring him in and missing the cash he could make will hurt. I am worried about cash gen but a bit less so when I see McInerney named again, Serong in line for a debut and Mohony in line for a game (I have him already). I am flip flopping on my trades big time this week partly as I feel a bit spoilt for choice and feel like I need to be aggressive this year.

Option 1. Grundy/Sturt for Pittonet/Petracca
Option 2. J Kelly/Doedee for Simpkin/Petracca
Option 3....don't trade
Option 4....laugh hysterically at even contemplating option 3
Option 5. All above options out the window thanks to teams carnage tomorrow!

What is Louis Butler (D/M) job security like?
Looks as though he has come in for Suckling who was omitted. So probably doesn’t have as good JS as a player who has come into the side to cover a medium to long term injury. Hopefully he plays well this week and becomes an option for us.
