LOL I think after a few getting scarred in SuperCoach 2013, Karnezis could be back in the mix as a SuperCoach Forward in 2014?

COLLINGWOOD says Patrick Karnezis can be an "elite" third forward who can transform into a top-line midfielder.

The 21-year-old was traded today from the Brisbane Lions to the Magpies in a straight swap for young forward Jackson Paine.

Karnezis, who grew up supporting Collingwood, played 21 games in three seasons in Brisbane after being selected at pick 25 in the 2010 national draft. "We see Patrick as a very versatile talent," Collingwood recruiting manager Derek Hine said, adding Karnezis showed glimpses of his "elite ability" with the Lions. "At 190cm tall he has played third forward, wing and quite a bit of midfield which is where we see a lot of scope for Patrick in the years ahead.

He'll be similarly priced again averaging 49 from 3 games.
He only burnt us this year due to sub vests, lack of selection. If he looks like being a best 21 player, I'll definitely pick him up again :D

Karnezis scares me. If he does well then I can always pick him up but doubt i'll start with him.

The trap is set, especially if he is categorized as a FWD which I expect. Very tempting due to price.

off the cuff comment but Karnezis takes Daisy's role?

Karnezis, elliot, j thomas, dwyer..
Definitely putting fasolo on the watch list,
Dubbed one of if not the best kick at the club pies really need another elite kick in the midfield. Wonder if fasolo can fill the role. Wonder if bucks thinks he is an option now we have bolsted our side with alot of fwd options.

Damn mate was hoping he would not get mentioned. LOL Nah I knew he would get named at some stage.
Should be dirt cheap next season and as you say a very good player and kick. Love the way he goes about his footy, a bit of swagger.
Certainly a cheap FWD option to watch.

Does Sharrod Wellingham F/C @ 391.6K interest anyone else?
It's value, definitely, but I don't see him increasing his average a whole heap. Could be a solid 22 game F6 in terms of point generation...I'm already starting to get sucked in to Chappy. Yeah, he's old and had hamstring issues in the past but I love him @ 409.6k. But in this sort of price bracket it's probably worth forking out the current 444k for Gunston.

wellingham has good days but I dont see him in my side at the end of the year. Bit pricey for a stepping stone. Hope he can prove me wrong with nab cup form. Id rather fasolo for almost half the price

I don't know why but I really see him becoming a 90-95 point player, I'm probably off but if he has a good pre-season, could do well with West Coast's relatively easy draw since they finished in the bottom 6 bracket. Start off the year versing Dogs, Dees, Saints and end the year versing Dees and Suns

Forward options seem to be limited.

Rocky and daisy are locks if still MPP.

I think Nicnat and buddy are probably the next best options.

Will be locking in those 4 and Christensen, with Motlop a possibility if I have salary cap space.

I think cheaping out on forwards Could be the go for 2014. There is great value and some likely rookie types.

Im going to say it- missy higgins will be a nicely priced stepping stone in 2014 :p

Bulldogs
Higgins and fasolo fighting for f6 atm
If Higgins is fit he should be in strong contention as F5 or F6. Bulldogs don't play freo, hawks, cats or swans until round 11. Play six teams that as a bulldogs supporter can see them winning while Richmond and Essendon im not sure about. A good stepping stone with his discount from injury. But I won't go anywhere near him IMO.
