Have people been contemplating the Sandilands AND Zac Clarke could be playing along side each other the whole of 2014 bar when Sandilands gets another toe or foot injury. They'll be pinching each others points. Sandilands will be a steal if around 300K (give or take) but with Zac Clarke fighting with him for 1st string ruckman, there is going to be a lot of points going missing for 211.

Risky, but H Mac and 211 in the rucks with Nic Nat in the foward line gives us the 8,9,10 bye rounds sorted.
McBean as R/F on the ruck bench.
I'll be starting similar (based on preseason) except I will start Dawson Simpson over Macintosh.

Check out Sandilands finals series :p. Clarke should be more of the 2nd ruck/3rd tall forward I think. The one to worry about is Griffin if/when he recovers from the ACL injury he suffered earlier this year.

As a geelong supporter, do you think Dawson Simpson is the number 1 ruckman at your club? I saw a few of his games and he looks very promising. Do you have an idea on his injury? Will he get a full preseason?

I think he showed that he can not only be the number 1 ruck at Geelong, but also in the comp at some stage. I think he has recovered from his injury already, though he may be eased into the start of preseason training. I don't expect Macintosh to be able to hold the number 1 ruck position (especially with his injury history), though I do expect him to play games early in the year alongside Simpson (assuming both are fit) as I think Hawkins may have a delayed start to the year, and Macintosh has shown in the past that he is adept at playing up forward.

Out of McIntosh and Simpson which one do you think would have had the better preseason and likely to start as geelongs number 1 ruck for round 1? I know that McIntosh has "overcome his injuries" and i guess has been doing light training before preseason. While im not too sure about simpson. I would pick simpson any day of the week over mcintosh but i guess it comes down to price, preseason and form. I do like the look of mummy at gws and have a value ruckman like sandilands or mcintosh as R2 but it is researching which is a better stepping stone.

Simpson the #1 ruck in the comp? Think there might be a bit of bias there NK. He is nowhere near top 5 in the comp maybe not even top 10. Massive unit though.

Naismith from the Swans grew 3cms this year from 205cm to 208cm and seemed to have bulked up as well.
Not a certainty but could play later half of the year depending on his development and opportunity.
A Monster Ruckman is just what the Swans need!!!

Really?! Yes I know that their number 1 ruck is a new Australian, but during the off season they have only lost mummy and white. They add buddy and get goodes and reid back from LTI. Throw in LRT and I think they are going to be way too tall for a ground like the SCG

Well guess what, rumour has it that Swans are looking to get Lobb with Pick 15.
Maybe the taller younger Tippett with a mid pick.

Has screwed me over big time the last two years so I'll be passing especially after that news.
It is sad because he has so much potential supercoach wise but all his injuries are killer. if there is a season he is fit i would pick but i don't know when that is
