Not 100% sure that I would be chucking him on my watch list.
What/who I would be having a closer look at is Seedsman and Marley Williams.
Yeah I'm with you guys.

Armstrong is nott high on my interest list either.

Seedsman maybe???

Seedsman has a lot of flash about him. Awkward price, not for me, but like what he may be.

I am very close to locking docherty, suckling, ellis and hurn in defence. maybe with a M/D player if mcveigh or there about pops up.

Definitely has the potential for some monster games.
Agreed, certainly will get some high scores this season and continue to improve. Probably not worth getting in normal SC this season, maybe wait another year for him to establish himself, but for SC Draft games he could be a nice late pickup in a draft.

Don't think so, can see him playing the loose man in defence and breaking the lines like Andrew Walker did so well this year.
Yeah he'll play as a KPB, and in a lot more accountable role than Walker. Don't see him as being SC relevant.

I am very tempted to go Heath Shaw as possibly my only defender over 500K depending on new DPP from the midfield. The Giants first round will be a tough game but the next 7 all look very good for a team on the up - with mummy, lamb, shaw, addison in the ranks and the team coming into third season. Thoughts . . .

If goddard stays D/M i would have him over shaw and i am liking to the idea of mcveigh as D/M

Have been thinking about this for a while and might just take the punt on Shaw too. Goddard if DPP is my only lock at the moment.

I think I'll take the punt. There is a lot of upside with shaw in at the giants because if he gets more midfield time they won't go to him as much as ward and other permanent midfielders. he may have the odd stinker but i am warming to the idea of him getting the sherrin more.

Do you think a defence of

R1. Heath Shaw
R2. Jarrad McVeigh (M/D)
R3. Shannon Hurn
R4. Brandon Ellis (M/D)
R5. Sam Docherty
R6. Matt Suckling
R7. Rookie
R8. Rookie

is too expensive for round 1?

Either suckling or hurn. Hurn hasnt got the greatest cieling for a 450k+ player. Theres cheaper options with the same output. We just gotta find em

But a fit bock is an a very unlikely bock. He hasn't played a full season since 2008. It is a big ask seeing as bock's first game of the season was in round 19, scored a 2 in round 20 and didn't play the rest of the year (2013). It is a big IF HE IS FIT and a few question marks behind that statement.
