It's not exactly a stable environment at present. Anything involving state borders and Covid19 changes rapidly. You can't plan with certainty, you just have to adapt.
Yeah, understand that.

I was having a go at Mark Stevens... There seems to be this trend of a few certain reporters desperate to be first with the news... Yesterday he was claiming "Carlton and Hawthorn will be the last two teams to swing through the WA hub" and now all of a sudden the AFL confirms SYD & GWS are definitely heading to Perth less than 24hrs after Stevo made the claim... You can't tell me that it all of sudden it changed from no teams heading to Perth, to GWS & SYD heading here.

He just flat out made that up so he could look like he was first with any possible news.

To be fair, things are literally changing hour by hour.

A few weeks back I was told that Hawthorn players were told they were heading to QLD for the current hub block, then within the space of barely 12hrs they were told (and announced) that they were heading to NSW. This was even confirmed by a Hawks player last week in an interview (can't exactly recall who). Anyway, things are literally changing by the hour is the point I'm making, so what he reported then quite possibly was correct at the time.

Anyway, I do 100% agree with some journos preferring to be 'first' before checking if they are actually 'right, it's crept in a heck of a lot over the last couple of years, with some certain journos being repeat offenders. There's contributors to SCS that are bringing better, and correct info, compared to some doing the rounds.

R10 bye is gonna destroy some sides....

I’m not as exposed as I could be but popular premos would be Cripps, Doch, Sicily out at a minimum. I have Fyfe and Hill out too.

I’m sure many would have Titch, Yeo, Hurn, Brayshaw, Ceglar, Wingard, Pittonet etc on top of that.

Gonna be brutal!

Wonder if R11 will be best 18. If it’s not I may wait on Whitfield but if it is, I think I’d still take him this round.

I'll lose 9 players from my current team in R10... I'll be left with 18-19 that week... It won't be pretty for me.

Docherty, Cripps, Fyfe, Aish, Hill, Brayshaw, Pittonet, Brander, Williams...

Pittonet & Brander likely to be gone by then though.

This is kind of exciting... fixture release at last minute dealing with this stuff on the fly, everyone in the same boat. A lot of luck but a chance to employ some strategy too. Good luck to all!
Yep I like the strategy stuff too.

Just need SC to come out and confirm exactly what is going to happen.

I think your prediction is on the money
They have no excuses now that the R9-12 fixture is made public, 2 days prior to the start of R8.
Let's just hope they already have something in place and will be proactive in letting the masses know tomorrow rather than announcing it at the start of R10.
