Glad they released the 4 Round fixture in bulk , don't think it will change my trade targets in Rd 9 & 10 though.

I reckon extra trades could be offered to deal with teams not being announced before rounds start and also restings.

Just a question, I might have missed seeing it if it has been announced, although I'm thinking it probably hasn't been as of yet, but...

Has the AFL said anything in relation to the remaining 10 teams bye, in terms of if they will look to get them staged early post this block of fixtures announced tonight (e.g. 13, 14, 15?)? Or if they will stage them evenly throughout the remaining rounds (e.g. maybe two teams a round from 13 - 17)?

Don't think anything direct has been said about the bye scheduling, however I believe I saw somewhere that the last 2 rounds are planned to be normal rounds (no byes, normal scheduling).

I could definitely be wrong though.

Yep, that's what I vaguely had in the back of my mind but couldn't remember where I saw it or if I was just thinking things.

Hopefully they get them out of the road ASAP from a SC POV.

I will be interesting to see what happens, best 18 for Rd 10, extra trades???

I'm not to bad at this stage based on whom is currently in my side and who played last week these are the players out:

Docherty (BYE), Sicily (BYE), Titch (BYE), Williams (DNP), Brander (DNP), Cameron (DNP), Cobden (FD), Hill (BYE), McInerney (DNP)

I guess McInerney is a chance to come in, but Noble is probably questionable.

That would leave me with 6 FWD, 2 RUC, 8 MIDS, 4 DEF (under the assumption that all players that played last week are availible for seletion, but we know how likely that is...)

Given the bye, there will need to be a round 18 wont there? Keep it simple and run 3 trades per round coming home or have 2 wild cards you can play at any time giving you 4-6 trades for that week.

Not too disappointed with an early Freo bye either. Fyfe technically only misses 1-2 “games” and would be “bye free” on his return.

But will his body survive a match every 4 days when we have to go through this twice again? I would think they will rest him.
I think all teams will be resting older players who have a few niggles and soft tissue problems.
