I find it some what interesting this as "goals" appear to be harder to come by ...

- The old mantra that defence wins games might not so much as relevant with the new rules and reduced game times ...
- Looking at some recent games this round ... goal kicking efficiency seems to be coming to the fore .. PTA and RIC so far this round ...

It’s just the year for it. Bringing in someone you know is definitely playing is probably better than going blind on a Draper type. I grabbed Ling for similar reasons last week.
Fair point , I guess different circumstances for different people.

But Draper is the new Moss/Madden.

At least I hope so as he will be my R2 (will look very foolish now if he is managed) for a few rounds at least , as I need to do the trade before the Cats game to afford Duncan.

plus Starcevich 45 and Skinner 26 which I hope will not be best 18 (22 playing and 3 emergencies)
Starce 45 may look bad on paper but who is going to beat it (rookie wise) this round .... tough oppo too and just fell short of his BE ...

- Might have one in mind but up against another strong team too ...

although the tigers have alot of good players to come in, it doesnt necessarily mean they will be a better team for it

alot of players who are playing new roles and excecuting them perfectly like baker and bolton

if it means shifting it all alround and taking away form players and replacing with big names, doesnt mean the output will be the same
You've picked two players who were best XXII late last year and played in the flag...
