Sounding like Stuart Broad's tour will be over. I think Mitchell Johnson broke his toe with that yorker he got him out with.
Almost feel sorry for the Poms..... Almost!!!!

Must be two different pitches out there - a highway for the Aussies and a pockmarked pebble strewn gravel track for the Poms. I have just watched Swan get hit for 22 off one over and Anderson get hit for 28 off one over. Aust declares giving England 504 to win.

Over to you MJ...

Heard it was a ripper!

For a sec then i was getting worried i'd have no cricket to watch tonight but looks like they're going ok now.

It was sensational. Just what you bowl out swing bowling for (although for left hand bat it becomes inswinger)

Almost brought a tear to my eye.
Nothing Cook could do, he was just out of luck to get such a brilliant ball first ball.

Aussies as a team should celebrate and party long and hard after this match.
It does not get much better than this for every team member to have contributed something special.
Even Bailey whom has not cemented his spot but with his little cameo will forever be remembered for tearing Anderson apart for 28 off an over in a Test and Clarke declared right then and there with Poms completely having 2 of their best bowlers demoralised and powerless to do anything to stop the momentum and that is making the Ashes ours so soon after Poms were getting so smug so recently.

5 wickets to party time for these players.

PARTY TIME!

Australia wins back the Ashes, after a very brave century from the Englishman Stokes.

Not that it's important but I had Steve Smith captain in game one and game two and got sick of his nonsense and now he scores a ton. Hello Patrick Dangerfield.
Just saw this now. I did exactly the same thing... haha. Only difference is not only was Smith not captain in game three, he was out of my side.

Yeah!!!! Ashes is back on Aussie soil.

Unfortunately I missed the session after lunch as I had to travel to play cricket so I got mum to tape it, can't wait to watch it back tomorrow morning. Also looking forward to setting up camp in Melbourne for the whole of the Boxing Day test, luckily there will be some Big Bash matches on in between now and then.

Like you missed most of it but had recorder set to record an hour in middle of days play when I suspected it would be over or close to over. Watched it last night when got home and saw last wicket plus about 40 minutes after match with Channel 9 thankfully follow up with some of after match starting celebrations in changing rooms.
Was great stuff to see so many players that had rough patches look so happy to expereince someting really special together as a team. Reminds of 1989 when Aussies come out of doldrums to win back Ashes in England with AB, Lawson, Boony and Marsh finally getting reward for some tough seasons when few Tests were won.

Really happy for Haddin, Mitchell Johnson, Harris and Lyon. At various stages in last 12 months just about all of them could reasonably expect not to play in Test matches again and now they are part of Ashes history. Bailey probably thought he'd never play Test match cricket in his life and now he is part of a team that won back Ashes. Would have been a great party last night and probably for next day or so too ;)

Only thing would be is that I think Malinga will miss the first two matches due to international duty. Also just make sure Marcus North is playing after the terrible happenings with his brothers death a few weeks back, but that should be an easy swap if need be.

Would think all will be playing, just make sure you follow any news on the Scorchers team selections. Hogg may not play so watch that closely, you should be able to find a suitable replacement though.
