You may also need some voodoo dolls of some sort to curse the hamstrings of Adams, McKenzie or Elliot :p
I'm glad someone said it, without wishing injury upon anyone, I'm in need of 3-4 of them if the fantasy gods could deliver a gift. Hahaha.

Event then I'm not sure it'd be enough to stop The Jets taking the chocolates haha.

In other Rangers related news, very happy that a few stinkers from Rankine has made his 5 year contract much more affordable! Was getting prepared to offer a close to million dollar a year deal but his performances haven’t matched such asking price.

His teammate B King is also rumour to be in discussions for a 5 year deal too.

On the other hand, negotiations with Stack have gone into limbo with his future career in doubt after some serious off field troubles. It’s left a tough decision for the Rangers to make re the length of his contract extension (but a shorter term contract at the very least seems likely).

With things pretty gloomy today in at GOODMAN FOOTBALL GROUP HQ, the list management group has quickly had a look at some damning numbers from the big dance.

And the leagues highest paid player is still to come...

To say the big names didn't turn up on the biggest of SCSUL stages is an understatement. Had some of these blokes dished up half respectable scores we actually might've been half a sniff with Dunkley (C) not going too large and poor Sunday scores from Duncan, Wallis and JJ for The Jets.

I wonder who ended up being the best players from a points per dollar perspective?

Probably one of the rookie rising stars like Serong but from a premo perspective, Lyons or Steele would be right up there!

Geez it got a lot closer than it probably should've, and me taking the C off Grundy (for the first time this year) has probably cost me a flag.

Well done Jordy, suspect your blokes will do enough with the scaling to hold onto the win, and take the inaugural SCSUL Premiership.

Wow what a very tight tussle in the end!

The Giants held on for as long as they could with their lowish total and Giant Grundy did his best to keep the Jets at bay but it was only until late in the final qtr when Coach Jordan flicked on the turbo switch to pilot the Jets to a hard fought victory!

Well done to both the @Goodie's Guns Giants and @Jordan's Jets on producing an entertaining inaugural SCSUL 01 grand final!

Congrats Jordy. Huge effort by your boys, was on the back foot early with Jed Anderson producing a Grand Final performance for the ages.

A thoroughly deserving winner to take out the inaugural SCSUL Premiership, you were the best and most consistent side the entire year.

Looking forward to reviewing the season and then cracking into some list management decisions.

The Giants Best & Fairest will be held later this week, along with some exit interviews.

SCSUL Brownlow Medal Count and Finals MVP Award to be announced tomorrow night.

The Rangers will be back with a vengeance in 2021, after a disappointing loss to the Creme in the Prelims, the Rangers fired up and put up scores in the final two rounds that were higher than both the Jets and Giants in both weeks.

Congratulations @Jordan's Jets on your great season and becoming the inaugural Ultimate League premiership coach.

Thanks @KLo30 and @Goodie's Guns for running this for all of our entertainment. From outside it looks like you have put in a monumental amount of work to get this up and running, and that is probably underestimating the time you have invested. I have been blown away by the quality of this competition - thank you again!

Following last nights conclusion to the inaugural SCSUL Premiership decider, the SCSUL Competition Committee has today paid out the Premiership winnings to @Jordan's Jets FC coach Jordy. After finishing as the leagues minor premier, The Jets went on to claim the SCSUL |01 flag in emphatic fashion. Goodie's Giants FC coach Tim Goodman has also been paid out his runners-up money, which will come as a small consolation to what was a heartbreaking ending to The Giants season.

Ruckman Nicholas Naitanui was announced as the inaugural Tom Baker medalist at the Arcadia Timelords Best & Fairest ceremony held today. Naitanui polled 47 votes to finish ahead of experienced midfielders Patrick Dangerfield and Jack Macrae who finished in a tie for second on 38 votes.

Naitanui polled in twelve matches, amassing 36 of his 47 votes during the compressed second half of the season. When many thought Naitanui would struggle to get his body through the tight schedule, he instead took his game to another level, playing a key role in taking the Timelords to a finals appearance in their debut season.

Veteran midfielder Dangerfield showed impressive consistency throughout the season, polling votes in 15 of the Timelords 19 matches. Fellow runner up Macrae was not as consistent but he stepped up when needed, with his 38 votes including five best on ground performances. However it was fourth place getter, veteran Scott Pendlebury, who showed that he is not past it, topping the best on ground count after receiving five votes in six matches. In good signs for the Timelords future, promising young ruckman Sean Darcy finished in fifth position.

Lockhart Medal.png

Good evening and welcome to very first 'SCSUL Lockhart Medal Count'.

Named in honour of the leagues founder and commissioner, Ken Lockhart, the 'Lockhart Medal' is awarded to both the best and fairest player. Adjudged by the umpires, votes are awarded on a 3,2,1 basis to the players who make the greatest individual contribution across each and every fixture throughout the entire SCSUL Home and Away season.

Without further ado, we will now get the count underway...

"And the winner of the 2020 Lockhart Medal, with 31 Votes is, Lachie Neale, of the Creme De La Creme Fantasy Football Club"

Screen Shot 2020-09-22 at 2.20.11 pm.png

"Lachlan Neale, son of Robbie and Amanda, born 24 May 1993, was the fourth player auctioned in the 2020 SCSUL Top 60 Players Auction. Neale attracted bids from all bar one team, with Creme De La Creme getting their man on a six year, $6,000,000 dollar deal. Neale would go on to be announced as the clubs captain for the inaugural SCSUL season, and lead his side to a Preliminary Final appearance.

Playing all 18 home and away fixtures, Neale averaged a massive 138 SuperCoach points, with only YRA captain Max Gawn averaging more for the season. Neale won Bay Villas Resort All-Ultimate honours, and was also announced as the captain of the leagues representative side. Neale's total of 31 votes was an extraordinary 12 more votes than Timelords ruckman Nic Naitanui (19 votes), who placed second in the count.

Please be upstanding as we raise a toast for the '2020 Lockhart Medalist', Lachie Neale".
