GOLD COAST’S SHOCK TOP 20 PICK BEING TARGETED
Young contracted Gold Coast half-back
Wil Powell has been approached by multiple clubs to depart this off-season, reports
AFL Media.
The 21-year-old, who was a shock first-round pick in the 2017 draft, had a breakout 2020 season as part of an improved Suns defence.
But he is being chased by a number of teams including North Melbourne, whose head of player personnel Scott Clayton was at Gold Coast when Powell was drafted.

“He‘s (Powell) a person of interest in the recruiting ranks,” veteran journalist Damian Barrett said on Footy Feed.
“Several clubs have made an approach to him, including North Melbourne, who do need to replace a lot of players on their list. He‘s a person of interest.”
Powell played 15 games this season, taking his career tally to 35.
EAGLES CHASING OUT OF CONTRACT GIANT
GWS forward
Zac Langdon is reportedly set to name West Coast as his preferred destination, reports The West Australian.
The 24-year-old Giant played just seven games this past season as he struggled to fit into Leon Cameron‘s side, in his third year at the club.
But Langdon is out of contract and said to be keen to head back home to Western Australia. He would need to be traded.
Langdon impressed in his debut season with 21 goals in 21 games, but missed much of the 2019 season due to an ankle injury, including the run to the Grand Final.
The small forward could help bolster the Eagles‘ stocks in that area, especially given the continued absence of Willie Rioli due to his ASADA case.
Langdon played for Claremont at WAFL level before being drafted in 2017.
