Just have a feeling top 5 will be talls.
JUH (but already NGA linked to Dogs), McDonald, DGB, Thilthorpe.

Who's the other one (or two if we take out JUH given he's a given to Dogs already) tall/s that you see being in the Top 5/6/7 (depending on when the bid on Campbell comes)? Reid or Cox? Both seem reaches for me in that Top 5, and particularly with Hollands and Phillips still on the board. A team with a current selection in that Top 5 would be better served trading down and nabbing one of Essendon's haul of 7/8/9 (pre bids) plus sweeteners, and then getting Reid/Cox then I'd think.

I think the top 6 in the draft are pretty set (including JUH), after that it is a lot less clear who goes where.

Interested to see who the Hawks pick, they seem to be most commonly linked to Grainger-Barras, Hollands and Phillips. May as well go for Phillips and pick up Ed as a rookie selection too - start a collection of Phillips' to go with Tom (we have a few Tom's in the team too now I think about it).

PORT Adelaide has taken a significant step to ensuring its bright future continues, tying its first three picks from last year's NAB AFL Draft to new contracts.

Exciting playmaker Miles Bergman, key forward Mitch Georgiades and the explosive Dylan Williams have all signed new two-year extensions, which will keep each of them at Alberton until at least the end of the 2023 season.

Port must have an awesome culture at the club with no go home factor players leaving the club in probably 15+ years other than Chaplan. Managed to keep alot of one club players including Boak and now Wines when VIC clubs have come hard.
Isn't Wines from Echuca? That's a 2.5 hour drive from Melbourne still - not exactly going home. Having experienced both, Melbourne and country Vic are completely different lifestyles.

Clubs can now move 2 players straight from the senior list to the rookie list.

Good job by the AFL announcing this change the day before all list changes are to be lodged, and after some clubs have already delisted players they intended to reselect as rookies.
I think clubs have actually known about this for a while, even if some of the articles were saying clubs have been notified today, etc.

I got a few whispers through about this change coming in a couple of weeks back now.

Also Hawks wise, with list lodgement being tomorrow expect an announcement on Harry Jones being delisted at some stage, and Dyl Moore to get a contract, he potentially falls into the above category from what I've heard, they were still deciding whether he would be moved to the rookie list or whether he'd be senior list, just depending on how many national draft selections we decide we want to take.
