Is anyone thinking Bryant and Hughes instead of Turner?
I'm wondering why many are on Turner.

Wouldn't mind that combo. I think with Turner it's because he used to bowl a bit in previous seasons.

I think a shoulder injury put paid to Turner’s bowling. He has trundled a couple of overs down in the shield this year so there is slight chance he gets an over or two, but I think they will be few and far between. I like him for his batting - looks value given his down year last year coming back from injury. Can be a very dangerous batter once he gets in, and looking like he could get a chance to bat at 4.

However, you can probably throw a blanket over some of the cheaper batting options this year. Eg Turner, Bryant, Hughes, etc. Unless we want to risk one or two of them straight up on field, we will have to let a couple go ... someone will get the right combination!

I was wondering why the chat on Wildermuth had gone so quiet, and wondering if I could make room for both Bryant and Hughes.

I’m now assessing if I chop Ahmad (may only play 2-3 games, and never be on field for me) and hang on to all three given your comments!

These guys typically bat too low in my view.

Yes, Tremain is one I’m looking at closely. Listed as being part of the best XI and initial XI’s in that article a few posts above.

Either Ahmad or Tremain for my team with just one cheap BWL spot available.

This was all I could find on cricinfo, wondering what he's been doing! Bit of a pod it seems at 6% ownership for his history. Feels like a fallen premo player returning from an LTI.

Try the MyCricket website and select Scarborough Cricket Club as the team.
Then go to statistics, bowling/fielding, then bowling averages and sort by all seasons.
You should find AJ Tye near the top of the table.

Last played club cricket in March 2020.

Just did a bit of Googling and came across the My Cricket site/app. I’m not 100% sure if Tye has been playing recently, but I think this source should have the info if he has.
