Interesting , just following the scores I thought the bowlers must be on top.

I thought I read the last 6 ODI'S teams batting first at Manuka were averaging 320+

226/5 after 45 overs before Hardik makes me look completely foolish 😀

Last 2 overs have both gone for 17 each

Add a 19 , Jaddu out striking Hardik.

Zampa scored 76 in 2018-19 at Manuka , probably need to lookup the scorecard to then work out what it relates to with this season's scoring.

Heat batsman in particular have no idea against leg spin so he could have a field day against them.[/QUOT


I will probably still go with him Herbie but players like Stanlake I will pass. A healthy majority of pace over spin wickets at Manuka ( ODIs ).
On past performances Stanlake will be fortunate to play two full matches.

Manuka Oval appears very batter friendly. This is not inspiring if you have a plethora of Stars bowlers in your squad. I am starting to
question players like Zampa for the first time.

Zampa and Agar both put in good performances, perhaps spinners will still go okay?

Wonder if the Tassy games coincide with Wade being selected in the tests or even Short playing the ODI’s? Pretty sure he had big problems when they both were playing and the Hurricanes couldn’t make early inroads.

Interesting game at Manuka tonight. Pitch looked kind of slow in the first innings and Bumrah is getting some serious carry off it... I get there's not too many Bumrah's in the BBL but it might not be the batting paradise we thought!

Manuka has always been slow but flat. It’s not a road like Adelaide, Optus and Blundstone all are. I reckon we’ll still see some decent scores on it, just topping out at 185.

Much larger than I realized too. Apparently similar to the MCG and the second largest in the country. Finch mentioned there’s lots of 2s and 3s available, presumably that compensates for the greater distance to the boundary than I might have anticipated.
