Which midfielder (priced over $550,000) has recorded 85% or more TOG in all bar 1 match since 2019?

I’m not sure that this is actually that good a guess, but I feel I should guess Macrae.

Edit: looks like I was right about the first bit :)

Aha! It is who I originally thought of, and then dismissed because I thought he’d played a couple of lower TOG games.

Liking these!

Just checked that I opted for Highmore on my def bench ... I did 🙂
The only issue is going to be his ability to get a game. The Saints have a pretty solid group of defenders, not spectacular, but solid across the board. With some ok/experienced depth in Webster, Roberton and McKenzie all having seen games over the last 3-4 seasons, as well as now Frawley as a stop gap should Howard go down.

If he breaks in from the start like Wilkie did then that will be fantastic for us. Hopefully they have picked him up with a specific role in mind from the get go.

Does Aiden Corr recruitment by North Melbourne impact Luke McDonald scoring capacity?
He had 2x RB50s on all other seasons and the seasons he didn't he was 3x the RB50s. Was alot for a shorter season but they were really bad this year. Don't think Corr will impact but who knows what a combination of Young,Menadue and Corr and a new coach will accomplish.

Don't know the answer to that, however, I had McDonald last year. Brought him in on his numbers, then watched him and wondered what had I done. he did ok in the end, however, he can butcher the ball. Benefitted from NM being awful and getting smashed on i50.

Maybe nothing changes, maybe they revisit how they distribute the ball out our are not as terrible as last year. Will not be in my starting team. Just a view from someone who watched him closely.

Season probably be over if we haven't got both by then anyway. 14 weeks without one of them will be tough.
Pretty much. I think most sides should be able to field a reasonably strong side even if they are missing two rucks by then given it will be best 18.

I do see some merit in not locking in both gun rucks, picking Preuss for example might get you $400K extra for the rest of your team, but making up the points you lose by not starting them both is where I struggle when I have tried it. I'm sure better coaches than me can do it.

Yeh im just liking the Gawndy combo for possibly the last year. Some good rucks coming through like English,Draper who could well be 2022 starters. Some bigger question marks in the midfield this year so I'm happy to pay up for Gawndy.
