Well I have no idea what that means! I guess better now than in round 3?

Any medical experts got anything on likely impact that would have? Never even heard of it as an injury before.
Looks like 3 to 4 weeks and no exercise during that period just rest and IV fluids if needed. Sometimes recovery can be slow
( probably not for an elite athlete though imo)

RECOVERY
In most cases, the recovery period is 3-4 weeks, during which time the player rests the abdomen. When the pain begins to subside, the doctor will take CT scans to assure that the hematoma (a swelling filled with blood as a result of the bruise) has subsided. It is vital that the athlete be kept out of competition long enough for the contusion to heal. If there is any question as to whether he is ready, he will not be cleared to play.

I think that's enough for me, probably the reminder regarding his durability that I needed, especially if he misses the preseason game and I get no extra info on where he's even playing this year!

Premiums dropping like flies...
I wonder if the compressed fixture and late end to last season is having an impact, as players haven't had that longer rest to ramp up training again?
In 2020 some teams played as many as 13 games in August/September/October. In other years that could be as few as 4 if you didn't make finals.
