Finished the year with a bang as well. 130, 94, 121 with 23, 23 and 34 touches as well.

Only thing I don't like about him is he almost always has a job to do whereas, if we believe what they're saying about Fisher, he'll be able to just run around and try and get the ball lol. Not sure how long opposition teams will let that go on for though.

$430,300 which is $900 more than Swallow who I think most will go for at that price. Grimes is $436,500 and DPP.
...bit of a toss up at the moment. Could throw a blanket over a few guys price wise. Considering Grimes, Geary, Watts (he good for?), Seedsman, Hendo x 2, Hurn... They all present some value but will any be near top 10 defenders???

For some reason I am liking the look of seedsman filling in shaw's roll.

What are people's thoughts on harry taylor from geelong?
Gun and I'd expect him to go at 90+ again, but I think that there are better options at his price (Corey Enright for one). If you want a key defender and huge POD with the same bye, I would go for Scott Thompson instead. I think that he is a slightly better fantasy player. Harry Taylor is best suited for a draft game IMO, not for an actual SC team.

I feel Harry will only score well when he pushes forward for a quarter or so, or because of injury.
Not as a full time forward.

Chappy gone, Thawk injury prone, Harry might be used full time forward.

I doubt that the situation will be much different from last year, where Taylor is only pushed up if we really need to change something up. Chappy barely played last year and I think Murdoch has more or less replaced him. Tom Hawkins was injured last year (and by all reports is in much better condition right now) and Harry didn't play forward that much then either. The only thing that really affects whether or not Taylor is pushed forward is the health of our rucks. With one or both of Simpson/Macintosh fit, Vardy can play centre half forward no worries and we won't need to look for alternatives up forward. Unless Hawkins goes out for the season, I would say that Taylor stays down back (unless we are playing a Melbourne or GWS where he can play forward for a fun day out) and even then I think putting Walker and Kersten in is a better option, as there is no point in playing the AA CHB away from his best position.

Taylor scores most of his SC points from intercept and contested marks, which are weighted fairly heavily in SC (particularly late in games) and something that he excels at.

Yes I usually have Harry in my supercoach team, but leave him out of dream team.

Will McIntosh be fit? And will he be #1 ruckman at the cattery?

Not sure about him being fit (really don't have any faith in him), but even if he is I think Simpson will be number 1 ahead of him.

Opinions on Dylan Grimes?
Yes has had a bad run with injuries but in 2012 he showed against Adelaide and Sydney that he could score 100's. Highly regarded at Richmond and seems to be locked into the starting 18 when fit. Priced at $256,900.

Not sure about the player himself to give an opinoin but for that price I think you would have to feel he could get to $400k and average 85.

I have my eye on a few players at that price such as Sutcliffe from Freo and Shaw from Adelaide but will only pick them if they are solid best 22 with good form. Doesn't hurt putting him on a watchlist as its always worth a punt on a one or two smokies if you have done your research (in my opinion - I don't like to play too safe) as you can always fix by downgrading to a rookie pre-price change if it doesn't pay off. Those who punted on Brandon Ellis for example would have been pretyy happy last year.

...pretty keen on fitting Murdoch in, you reckon he'll be a consistent contributor?

Pretty sure those who started with Ellis would be cursing his name and raging at him all season haha. Might even be on a few never again lists if wager :p. But you make a good point aside from that.

Awesome trading mate. Would have been sweet for anyone who picked him at ~230k after a few rounds :).

We need to see how Richardson uses him i think. He had those years when used as the loose man back, but has recently been used as the 3rd tall. With Delaney at the Saints now its entirely possible we see Fisher go back into the more lucrative role. Dwfinitely worth a watch in my opinion, if he looks fit that it.

Paul Seedsman. The more I dwell on him the more I like him. There are certainly comparative players around his price but he does have that X factor and very good player written all over him. Some of his games last year were outstanding, he is certainly a raw talent, no Shaw will help cement a spot off the half back line, with Harry L playing up the ground it seems as well, will be in the best 22, young, fit, talented on the improve.
