Today’s lockdown announcement has me wondering if SC have released any plans regarding how they will handle abandoned matches?
Just some sort of loose statement could at least help our planning.
For example.
1. If a match gets postponed but commences before the next round starts, the game will still count to that rounds score.
2. If the postponed match happens after the commencement of the next round ... what happens?
Will we get average scores or will we cop donuts? Will we get DGR benefits when the game is finally played?
3 if X games are cancelled in a given round will the round become null and void?
I know that it could get quite complex as any number of situations could arise, but it would be nice to know what they might be thinking. At least then we can incorporate some sort of insurance into our planning. Surely after last year they have at least thought about it!
The more I think about it, the more I think they should just award average points.
Apologies if they have released something and I have just missed it!
