Yeah this is an excellent point re: Daniher.. but my current thinking is to plan on keeping him in and then if it looks shaky there are easy downgrade options that free up the cash. Could be harder to go the other way...
But what it comes down to is the viable forward rookies. First sign of trouble during the preseason and one easily comes out and Dunkley moves back to the forward line.

Yes I realise he has a uninterrupted preseason (so far).
I think I calculated he needed to average 75ish to make that "magic" $ 150k profit , so if he suddenly misses a few games that growth stalls.
Which he has achieved once in his career so far.
Understand he & Hipwood are different players , but Hipwood has only over 70 once.
How long will it take for Daniher to get to know the Lions running patterns , players not automatically looking for Hipwood & McStay or Charlie.
Remember reading a article about Lynch where I think he said it took him a good 6-9 months to learn the running plans , gel with Jack , learn how the downfield players preferred to kick with which foot and how far etc etc.
I assume he , Ziebell & Impey would be probably upgraded during the Bye rounds.
I guess it then comes down to a comparison against other forward rookies (or mids if starting a F/M premium) and a lot easier to adjust down.
