I was going through Defenders and their durability last night. Come across him and his 127 straight H&A games but only ever gone above 90 twice 2018(95.8) and 2020 (99.2).

Durability v average.

On last year's points , for defender eligible players this year Crisp is ranked 8th (Short 12th).

A interesting one is Blicavs is 9th.

Too many options in defence this year.

Yeh probably higher averages due to role changes. From memory Blicavs was rucking and Crisp was higher up the ground.

Still think we need Crisp (or Maynard) in the mids and start sitting a few blokes on their arse , but I doubt if Bucks and the match committee frequent these pages , and even so take any notice of my opinions.

Geelong's defence will be intriguing without Taylor and whether Blicavs ends up actually playing that defensive role more and more as per that article a few weeks ago.

Certainly a very dangerous player when he was allowed to play that wing role as well as rucking.

No way I'm getting sucked in to De Goey again after I picked him on a whim last season and held on for too long because he got mid time early. Note: that mid time was actually detrimental to his scoring

Probably would have been happy seeing 21 disposals and 81 SC. Think Williams won't be there so he was already on the list of replacements.

Well, my practice draft defence is looking OK with Mills, Short and Howe if they can keep up their current form. The rest of that team is average though. Hopefully my main draft goes equally well.

Have those 3 along with Williams and Salem in my keeper league, I'm pretty happy with the mix!

I think you have to go 5-0-1 or 2-3-1 to create $$$ for other positions.

If you look at Dow , Campbell , Powell M6-8 & ZDIC up forward that's 8 onfield rookies.

Need some of these $ 123,900.00 guys to start putting their hands up for spots.

Hard (impossible) having 4 x $ 600k + mids plus Cripps and still having Gawn & Grundy unless you go another 1-2 rookies forward but then have 10 upgrades (at least) to do + 2-3 others , you are not leaving many trades left for issues.
