Steele, Oliver, Bont, Jelly, Fyfe

Pick one to be alongside Macrae and Merrett.
Bont or Jelly for me.

If Oliver hadn't had some question marks over his pre-season, it would be him: last 4 seasons at 109+, only 23.

Bont last 2 seasons at 114+, is only 25.
Jelly last 4 seasons at 113+, is only 26 (durability questions however).

Fyfe turns 30 this year - have a look a Rowsus' thread on older players: the odds are stacking against him going nuts this year.
Steele has had one good year ever. He might do it again and if he does, trade him in.

I have a team I really like, but it's got Murray at D8 looking like he won't play and $40k in the bank.

Do I do keep something like...
Laird/Meek/Murray
vs
Ridley/Hunter/Butts

Or just put in someone like Bailey Laurie at D8?

assuming you don't already have a donut elsewhere, replace Murray with one. Given the sub situation I prefer someone like Fyfe who you can rely on not to play.

i reckon that's better than those compromises.

Don't have him at all at the moment.

The Giants posted the news article on their site saying "two to debut" (Flynn and Bruyn) and then later on Cameron dropped a hinting type tweet that said they might look at two rucks. Don't know if that adds up to Briggs playing though does it?

Think the 2 ruck possibility come after the news that Riccardi was ruled out (although then their is talk that Hogan is ready to play).

Just my thinking if Flynn misses , Briggs play + his DPP swing works well with Fantasia.

Even before Murray's injury , he might have been behind Butts , Doedee , Kelly , McAsey.

Given up on 7 News giving correct information about Talia.

Personally think Briggs is a better option than Murray or Fyfe at D8.

Just hope Koschitzke & Highmore are both named to have at least one playing on the bench.

1 'I hope they turn into a premium' spot left in my side and I am struggling with it hard.

Taranto v De Goey v Phillips.

Keen to get some thoughts!

Crisp vs Mcdonald vs Daniel vs Ridley vs Mills?

Currently have it in that order, but the large % ownership of Daniel is making me nervous.

Daniel, Ridley, Crisp, McDonald, Mills for me in that order. Crisp and McDonald a toss up. Crisp a little more proven in his scoring and probably less likely to produce a genuine stinker, plus you just know he plays every game.

Daniel - potential to be tagged, poor durability
Mcdonald - Ziebell stealing all the kickins
Mills - I just think he is a terrible midfielder with no talent in that role
Ridley - took all the kickins but still struggled to dominate, how much intercepting possession will he lose this season

Thanks for your input! Am I missing something here? What is the argument against Crisp? He just seem like a selection I cannot fault at all.
