Can you Phillips - > rookie & get Bruhn/Powell to a Taranto or LDU ?

Not sure I want to run Ziebell at F2

Phillips to Cox frees up 227k, Dunkley to Martin another 20k, leaves $437k, Bruhn to Tarranto needs another 20k on top of that, would probably have to go Stewart/Short down to Young to get there.

Just swap Dunkley to F2 then Ziebell is at F3 😀

That's definitely my concern a this stage as I've still tried for the guns and rookies as best as possible and with a small rookie crop this year, I could be off to a slow start. I feel the only way to afford an upgrade to a Clark in defence or Ziebel in forward is to downgrade Neale to a Merrett type. I will keep tinkering and see how this goes!

No problem , it's a good structure if the rookies work but personally think 9 onfield looks too many.

Neale to say Cripps gives you $ 200k then to get a Clark & Ziebell/Daniher which might result in more starting points.

If you get all those Defence rookies you could turn Daniher or Caldwell down to a forward rookie and turn Cox into a Premo defender.

I think you have 1 too many mid pricers up front and 1 too few premos in Def, given your Ruck trade-off.

In the MIDS should i play Berry over Brockman.? Thinking Berry will spend some time in the rotation.? Likes a tackle by the looks of it.

Yeah, I'm tossing up something along those lines, or spending the cash on Grundy. I'm not that comfortable with the ruck either.

That's the game though, yeah. Agonising...

I'm also thinking of not starting Neale. I reckon he's underdone. I've had a rule not to pick premos with compromised pre-seasons.

Unlimited, but once a game starts players from those teams (eg. Rich and Carl) are locked out/in.
