young vs Tyson vs impey vs fantasia?

I like Tyson to be 5-10 ppg better scorer than the others.

Have considered all above, and currently not starting any as enough rookies have turned up, but plan to have cash and an avenue to bring Tyson in if he goes as well as i’m suspecting.

I’d Young above the others given the absence of defensive rookies and his expected role with Fantasia as an x-factor in a team that will create plenty of forward entries.

I know the last two have just come back from injury and will be cautious when playing but if they stand a good chance id rather have them sooner rather than later.

I would go Phillips over Heeney if they were the same price. The cash is a bonus. I think they will average similarly, around 85 - 90. Phillips has the potential (upside) to go 100+ if he keeps his pre-season role with a full strength Hawks midfield, whereas we pretty much know Heeney's role and I have him in the low 90s in a best case scenario.

Impey vs Cahill

Both if you can fit them. Probably Impey if you can only fit one. If you can put the extra 40k to good use then it might be worth going Cahill. I think Cahill goes 65 - 70 and Impey probably low 70s.

Trying to find the best balance between JS and SP among the 200 - 300k DEF options. Have pretty much ruled out Clark as he is probably the least likely to hold his place in the team or at least his role.

Wondering why Jimmy Webster hasn't received a bit more attention?

Will Young still score well when Ryan takes most of the kick outs?

Fantasia? That's about all I can think of to say about him.

on the face of it, that is a massive no brainer, option A all the way...... but replace it with

2,350 points (PIT70 with Jelly 115/18) + high priced rookie
vs
2,310 points (Gaff who will play every game 105/22) + (guy who could throw in a 130 spike with the lions midfiled ramming it down his throat and make more cash)

and suddenly Option B looks the goods.

Just my own thoughts/opinions based on the knowledge I have (which may differ from the knowledge that others have). I would go in this order:

Scott - good JS and decent SP
Warner - decent JS and decent SP
Rowe - good JS and low SP
Jones - good JS and low SP
Bergman - poor JS and good SP
Brockman - decent JS and low SP
Fullarton - poor JS and decent SP
