Without trying to pin you down Professor, it sounds like you're fairly confident that Dow will not get dropped and continue getting games, is that correct?
There's pressure on Teague with media speculation about why we're playing the older blokes, Murphy, Curnow. Looking at the video of Parks being told that he was set to debut, Teague said he loved what he brought, passion for the contest, he said he didn't care if he didn't get any touches, only for him to compete. So my inkling is, if Dow does his best, competes, doesn't shy away from contests which he has done a couple of times, he'll be safe. Need to look at the future and blood these youngsters. As @Tamuhawk mentioned we've got a couple of injuries, so should be safe for now.

I wouldn't trade Dow, as you might have either McNeil &/or Scott unavailable next week, who knows what Bevo's thinking. Do you really need Impey? I don't think he's a must have, would like to see him string a couple of consistent scores before forking out $200k.
Thanks Professor.
Impey would 'solve' my F6 problem as I have no idea who to field there and it has leaked serious points with rookie roulette. If I had any confidence in fielding Dow in that position I would definitely hold him and save the trade.

Must have changed my mind 100 times today about my second trade , so just gone back to my original thinking

Scott - > Warner

if Scott's scoring/JS is better than I think just have to accept I got it wrong

In hindsight I probably should have just traded Hunter - > Warner (via Fullarton) before last night's game , oh well

holding Cripps and hope his scoring improves

Once we get definite price changes after the end of this round and seriously get stuck into working out a trade road map.

My first priority is a premium ruck.

Second one is a upgrade for Highmore.

Will need to factor in Dangerfield & Marshall possibly at some stage.

Depending on how Campbell , Gulden & JordOn can maintain their scores then 3 premium mids.

Possibly Mitchell , Neale & Oliver but if Neale's form improves he is probably closer to $ 650k again.
For Neale to get back to $650k, he needs to start scoring at an average of 132 for the rest of the season. don't like his chances.

Might need to adjust my short list for mids then.

Think Neale , Steele , Petracca , Hunter , Adams & Treloar were on my BE list this round.

Be interesting to see how long Gulden , Campbell and JordOn can maintain their scoring before needing upgrades.

With DPP could be easier to upgrade defenders and forwards before the mids.

Bailey Williams will be back soon, not cheap, but could be an option.
I was reading somewhere they were mentioning Edwards as possibly the one to be putting pressure on Vardy.

Was hoping Bryan might have debuted this round.

Coleman-Jones might be a option when he plays.

Probably will end up going Hunter - > Treacy and then keep the link with Fullarton.

Lots to think about.
