The thing that swayed me is yes hes dropped cash but the guys still 640K, banking 50K to get Ridley in just feels like a no brainer, worst case scenario Im uograding to Neale instead of Ridley and Neale will be alot cheaper than Ridley would have been.
It's not taking much to sway Neale owners to trade him or not.
I'm not going to get upset if I made the wrong decision, because I'm forced to make a :censored: guess.

Fagan throws another spanner into the works here.

"After 21 disposals and a goal against Collingwood, Fagan said the star was looking better than he had previously"

“His injury is getting better all the time. He was good enough to play last week, got out there and performed for us, and he’ll do the same tomorrow,” he said.

“He’s a lot better this week than he was last week.”

Yeah, if Neale's back issue keeps flaring up, then I can see him being a FOGI (Fear Of Getting Injured) player, joining the likes of Fyfe and J Kelly, who some Coaches don't want to trade in their teams.

But if he gets over the back problem, I would expect he will be back averaging over 120.

Voltaren bloody auto correct
I thought you were suggesting electric shock treatment.
The worrying thing is that I tilted my head, shrugged my shoulders and mumbled ''hmm, eh, yeah'' as if doing ''whatever it takes'' to get your star player right is ok. Even if it resembles torture tactics :ROFLMAO:
Supercoach has ruined my morality compass

thunk the ship has sailed inq trading him. There was merrit in trading him from full price. But I always read how a value of 150k per trade has been made. So trading him out and probably back in seems very silly to avoid a 100k drop

Remember once traded out then he becomes just another option you can trade in. This thinking of "in and out" implies that it is committing two trades. It's not. If you trade him back in at say $520K (bargain) then it's no different to trading say Merrett or whoever in at that time as an upgrade you are doing anyway.

BUT, it's whether you think a $520K Neale is a great upgrade target by R8 when the whole world will be jumping on. This is where the $100K comes into play if your alternative is $600K. Additionally it might be that this round there is an alternative rising in price like say Ridley or Dunkely where if you wait you could be paying $70K more than they are now, while others pay $520K for Neale.

IF Neale does in fact drop that much. I make it if he gets 100 the next 2 games he "only" sheds about another $65K. If he throws up a 150 in one of those two weeks he could only drop another $40K. It could be a more marginal move than it looks now the big first price drop is out of the way.

I am not advocating one way or the other.

Yep, I made this move. Ridley goes up again and most likely keeps a high price this year.

Running the same script as the Blues about Cripps.

Good suggestion!
I wonder if the BRL medicos have tried Electrotherapy on Neale  It wouldn't hurt. :)

Electrotherapy - Back Pain (cure-back-pain.org)
Electrotherapy is a common name for various treatments that use electricity to fight back pain. The most common form is called TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation). These are devices that deliver electricity into the body through the use of electrodes applied to the skin. The usual form of treatment is high frequency stimulation.

For those of us still holding and now past the point of no return regarding trading him, I am clinging to this

"That's the most frustrating part, but I'm able to play, that's also an important thing."

Neale said the injury was not getting worse and he expected it to "get better pretty quickly".

So when do we start looking at trading Neale in?
I'm looking at next round.

Will I be expecting him to outperform the 550k or so I'll be paying for him for the rest of the season even if he hasn't punched out a ton yet? Absolutely.

Hopefully he tons up and shows a little.
