Unfortunately Marchbank took an uncontested mark in the VFL and has hurt himself once again. Potentially Achillies but praying not, he has had a horrible run with injuries and unfortunately if its Achillies, that may even be it for him (Fingers crossed it's not). Is easily best 22 for us but can never get on the park.

For SC, this is a little boost for Parks JS

Unfortunately might be an ACL rather than Achilles

What is the ankle syndesmosis?
The syndesmosis is a fibrous joint held together by ligaments. It's located near the ankle joint, between the tibia, or shinbone, and the distal fibula, or outside leg bone. That's why it's also called the distal tibiofibular syndesmosis. It's actually made up of several ligaments.25 Nov 2019

Search for: What is the ankle syndesmosis?
How long does syndesmosis take to heal?
Evidence suggests that syndesmosis sprains typically require 6 to 8 weeks for recovery, but this is variable. Chronic pain, instability, and functional limitations are common after syndesmosis sprains.

Looks like he goes upto Dunkley next week for me!
Shame too as was looking good for 120+ score when he went down!

Does anyone know what time the MRP sits today for yesterdays incidents? Slightly worried about Daniel going for a tackle he did in Q1

With trades planned for next week and no defence cover, i'll probs go kozi to chapman if he gets a week so hopefully we find out before the freo game

Marchbank can't get a fair crack at it.

Parks isn't a SC option imo even if he has some better JS now, he is a defender first and foremost, he doesn't get much of the ball.

I don't know why but Parks has that vibe of a really good fantasy pick to me, kind of guy who know one jumps on because he scores a couple of weak scores and then bangs out 70s from then on as he settles in and gets comfortable in the sport. Almost like a Wilkie a couple of years ago (or Cox), basically he just looks a very decent player and the few touches he has had have been solid to me and he looks like the kind who would actually provide some decent rebound.

Having said that, I'm almost certainly not grabbing him this week so I'm definitely not willing to put my money where my mouth is :)

I brought him in yesterday, should score much better than yesterday in those humid conditions, expecting 50's from him on my bench.

Yeah I think Parks job security is good. We are also 2-0 with him which doesn't hurt. I can't see Williamson getting in for him in the next 3-4 rounds at least.

Agreed I can see Parks being a good pick but not jumping on him myself. Would be a good choice for the small amount of teams running two rookie DEFS on the field.
