i was restraining myself from picking Stringer, overweight, injury prone, lost 7kg, appears to be over injuries after 2 games. Great role, missed out on Tex, could he do similar? Not slotting goals like Tex, but scoring wise 100's

Holding Kelly and Daniel and not thinking even considering trading them. Really regret trading Fyfe a few weeks ago (For Brayshaw) and thats the last premium I will be trading (excluding injury)

Chapman after the price rise? I'm a bit torn on this myself. Bringing him in is great for my structure but am thinking of passing on bringing in Jones (but then I have no cover in defence)

It wasn't necessarily the suspension or even the 19 he scored as the main reason I'm trading him out - that's just the excuse I needed - but it's both his form and his role this season. He could very well improve his form for sure but he just isn't as important to the Dogs plans out of defence this season. The role is just not as fantasy friendly as it was in recent years and he may not even be best 22 if he keeps paying the way he has lately (sic).

As Youtuber Jords Supercoach (who goes by the avatar @manyproblems here) discussed in-depth in a recent video purely on Daniel, there are manifold reasons why he is very likely no longer in the top 10 defender conversation this season.

So I suggest you check out the video if you require further convincing. In fact so astute was Jords that he saw the writing on the wall and actually traded out Daniel just BEFORE he played the Lions. He is on the brink of the top 100 now after posting a score well over 2300 on the weekend and has been a top 1K finisher the past 3 seasons iirc. So he knows his Supercoach and he knows a broken premium when he sees one.

Of course both Daniel's form AND his role could significantly improve, that's certainly not impossible, but I don't like the odds myself. So he has to go for me as someone playing strictly for overall rank this season.

I have been looking hard at Stringer, looks fit, is playing solid midfield minutes with Shiel out and I like for the decent cash boost plus points on field. However, he chews up too much cash for next weeks trades, when I want Titch at his bottomed out price around at $560k. So Waterman it has to be, and he will play onfield for just the 1 week. It will also leave a chunk in the bank for a 1up, 1down the following week.

I think if he can average >70 and score points on field he is still not a bad trade in (even after his price rise), he should still make $150k with 70s every game.

I would avoid Jiath in your situation. He needs to be a keeper at 400k, which is no guarantee.

From this post alone, I can already see you have a decent amount of underperforming premiums in Daniel, Kelly & Brayshaw. Bringing in Jiath just introduces another potential bust.

I'd look at someone a bit more certain like Ridley, Lloyd, Laird or Short.

-Butters out
-And have to get either Waterman or another playing defender as cash generation is low, But i also dont have any subs for defence

I was thinking Butters to either Dunkley, Tex or the ever risky Impey?
Feel like Dunkley is the safest option, but since im late on Tex I'll have to either get him now or wait for his BE to catch him?
Impey same as Tex, although the door hasnt closed yet

Although i could go Butters to Waterman but that means Zieball is F1, which doesnt feel right

I have no clue on whats going on in defense so i think I'll have more of a look in that area

I brought in Jiath, I'm banking on him to be a keeper, d6-7 at the least. He looks awesome, kinda like Ridley last year. Contested marks and speed to burn. Bowes safer option with kick outs is another one to consider for you perhaps. Also Houston
