It looks great for the short-term, however I think in a few rounds you'll wish you squeezed another 100k out of Gulden. With the way teams are named and general rookie roulette BS, cash-generation is always key! Steele at 650k+ is a bit high to be running that now.

All makes sense - just not happy to have 300k not scoring point in the bank ...
Any idea of how better use ?

I'd keep Gulden too and instead switch Clark into your MID and upgrade either Brockman or Jordon to a DEF premo like a Mills, Bowes or Houston who are more than $100K cheaper than Steele but should still contend for top 6-8 in their line.

Highmore to Waterman via Laird and Dunks.
May to Lever?
Or May all the way down to Waterman if you wanted to hold Highmore? I personally would prefer to downgrade if I couldn’t get in a full premo.

Love Jords but don’t agree with everything in the video. For example I think he does win his own ball for a half back and has shown he can intercept in the past playing pretty loose down back. I obviously regret the pick and he’s way under par right now but I’m holding him. I think an issue this year might be the dogs just don’t need him as an outlet as much given they seem to have free players and possession getters everywhere. Anyway he’s a hold for me now, price has dropped too much and no value to be had in a trade

Sorry Isaac 😅 but I promise we will reunite again soon

Heeney - > L Jones via Zorko & Fyfe
Hunter - > Hickey
Like the trades. Another one required later to upgrade Hickey to Gawn/Grundy (whichever you are missing) Is this because lacked the cash for a straight upgrade or you think money is better spent stepping up from Hickey later.

CJ or bowes? I’m really stuck on this. I got a feeling bowes is the next Lloyd, Lloyd broke out in his 4th season by memory and this is bowes 4th season. On the other hand CJ plays a super friendly SuperCoach role and 100k cheaper. Thoughts?

Far too early to lock Grundy in as the #2 ruck in my opinion.

Think people can get their teams in trouble if they automatically assume such and such or so and so is a automatic lock in a position , hence the week's discussion on Daniel.

Next one I am looking forward to reading about is if Dangerfield is a automatic lock for our forward lines.

As for Hickey , can't ignore his scores anymore just hopes he keeps it up.

I actually see a bit of value in a trade.

If I didn't own Daniel this week, I would be doing Highmore > Waterman to clear up some deadwood on my bench. I would only make 15k off this trade.

Since I own Daniel, I'm trading Fullarton > Waterman instead (still clearing up deadwood) and using the 62k from the trade to correct Daniel to Short/Bowes.

I'm viewing it as a 1 trade correction, since I was expecting to not make any $$$ off the Highmore trade anyway. It also helps me bring in a Top 8 defender.

I would hold on Daniel

Stick to your guns, with your guns. And may the odds be ever in your favour.
