Unless you have a donut and like his prospects more than those on the bubble. It's a risk that sometimes pays off.
I did it out of necessity with L Jones to cover a donut last week, which seems ok so far, surely his mullet gives him cult status and increases his JS accordingly - and perhaps helps if I have other burning areas when he's on the bubble.

Would you be surprised to learn I fell into that trap?
Sign up for AFL Fantasy, it's a great system to get your fix of rookies before you've seen them because you have to do it with their stupid price change system.

I'd only go early if you're dodging donuts and it's the only way you can do it.

All I'm hoping for Macrae is they give him genuine midfield minutes and not maroon him in their forward pocket of fantasy death like they seem to do to everyone.
He will.

People have been dwelling on the incompetence of our forward line for years. Now it's looking like our midfield is even thinner than our forward line god knows how.

I suspect we will bring in Greenwood (sub-starting), Macrae and Greenwood. In terms of inside midfield minutes, probably: Pendles > Sidebottom > Crisp > Sier > Greenwood/Macrae

The thing I don't understand is the Treloar and Phillips moves being marketed as renewal and getting more youth in, and so far all we've seen is the same players trying to play the same way.

The fans don't understand it either. Treloar and Phillips are both players with severe flaws (kicking, defensive pressure, etc.). But it's not like we have players to replace them.

It's almost like, and bear with me here, it was pure marketing spin for absolutely cooking the crap out of their cap management ;)
