No idea what to do at this point. Own Jones so don't have anyone pressing that I really want. Feel like Mcreery is a bit of trap with his goals boosting his score (especially the late ones from last game). Macrae has another week and Mansell I don't know enough about at this point, but points don't look overly promising at this stage. Hoping by Friday 6.30, I will have a better idea of who I will need to trade with 12 teams selected for the week by that stage.

Really want to keep the Swans rookies (Warner, Campbell and Gulden) for at least another week. Not overly keen on trading Clark either if he is going to get a game in the coming week. If he is medical sub again however, I will need to consider trading as owners were exceptionally lucky he wasn't used last week.

I'm currently fielding 3 rookies in the forward line, so feel like I could use some during up there. However, I'm struggling with forward upgrade targets. Still don't have Tex or Impey but it feels like the ship has sailed and not totally convinced on them as keepers. All the others look speculative at best (have Dusty, Ziebell and Dunkley).

Also like A Brayshaw as a value mid upgrade , but I already have Fyfe and am still worried about the tag so who knows.

De Boer got injured against Melbourne where he destroyed Oliver until that point, held him to something like 10 points in a half.

Brayshaw has a not too bad run until his round 14 bye:

North, West Coast, Brisbane, Essendon, Sydney, Port, Dogs, Gold Coast. I don't think these teams tag much, maybe Hewitt from Sydney. I think at his price it's definitely one im looking at and if he fails his round 14 bye makes it not too bad to trade around it.
Turner has gone a hard tag the last two weeks and done a very good job of it, actually has found a role he can play.

Nelson has been doing some strong defensive work for the Eagles. Haven't seen Brisbane tagging to date. Essendon also haven't tried to tag that I've seen. Sydney also no tagging. Port and Dogs both just try and blow other midfields out, though Wines has been going to the big body guys as a H2H counter, would be Fyfe/Mundy though as targets. Gold Coast also not tagging that I've seen.

So pretty good run after the next couple.

More than likely go Campbell and Clark to Clarry and Jones, leaving 11k in the kitty. But am tempted by Bolton.

My thoughts on the rookies (<160k and chances of playing) this week...

DEF

Kosi (159k) - I assume everyone already has him, nothing to suggest he's worth trading in over other options if you don't, was really solid on the weekend though.

Highmore (117k) - Assume most traded him out for Chapman a couple of weeks ago, making him a very viable target if he gets named. Webster injury opens a spot and he's shown the ability to score well. JS will remain on the lower end though but I think he probably plays this week and even with all that is probably a top 3 rookie option.

Jones (140k) - Picked up a couple of knocks so will need to pull up from those, think he's the #1 rookie option this week in terms of JS and scoring potential, role is strong and he's done everything right in both a tough and easy game and clearly offers them something extra to a few of the other guys they have.

Mansell (102k) - He's been alright. Role is actually pretty decent but JS is not strong and a bad game would have him out pretty quick. Personally think he's behind Jones and Highmore as targets this week.

Prior - He played really well in the wet, I actually liked his debut as well but the coaches didn't obviously. JS is poor, role has been fairly decent (HF) and he's got some serious traits (good size and left boot). Reminds me a bit of Crisp or Maynard in size/style but he's very raw. Again, think that Highmore and Jones would be ahead of him if both fit and picked.

Parks - Believe he's hurt (not on injury report) and that's why he missed but unfortunately Williamson took the chance last week and played quite well so tough to get back in straight away.

Wont bother with the 1 weekers here, plenty of 2 week options so no reason to gamble.

Mids

Lazzaro (152k) - Subbed out with a hamstring issue this week and has only got to this point in 5 weeks, you'd want to be desperate.

Bruhn/Sharp - Don't expect either back this week but who knows. Neither showed much as targets anyway.

Macrae (126k) - Looks the pick of the midfield options this week so would mean going early. Between Laird and Dunkley/Martin everyone should have links to the other positions so really not a lot of reasons that you'd need to go early on him but he's the best of the midfield bunch if you are.

Ruck

Hunter (134k)- Expect he's done with both Marshall and Ryder likely to be back.

Sweet (124k)- Actually was really impressed by his game, admittedly against no rucks, but expect they go with Martin still even if I'd like to see more of Sweet.

Campbell (155k) - Not worth it as the backup ruck with marginal JS, imo, unless you're truly desperate as he's probably the only one who will be playing.

Treacy (102k) - I'm personally hoping he doesn't play as I want him but not this week! DPP is his real value and I think I prefer as a forward personally for flexibility. JS and scoring both look to be pretty bad but he's definitely the pick of the 102k options and a decent option to free up cash.

FWD

Waterman (148k) - I didn't really like him as a 102k option because the 27 of this week seemed a likely result sooner rather than later (soonest it would turn out) but I guess if you're truly desperate he might be in play still.

Bergman (159k) - JS seems to be increasing by the week as other guys get injured and banged up, be a big effort for Hartlett to get up this week, imo, and Houston would have to be in doubt also. He played well and his role is very good. JS is going to be an issue in such a strong side but he's got some ability. Wouldn't shock me if he scored a 90 soon.

McCreery (117k) - I don't like his role but he's played it very well the first two games. Tackling his real standout trait and always a good one to have in a team that could only be described as marshmallow soft the last few weeks. Similar to Waterman for mine where a 30 type score seems very plausible and anything much beyond his scoring seems somewhat of a stretch but his JS is better than most and he's cheap.

Stone (144k) - Pity he's expensive, really like what he does but his JS can only be described as poor with so many stars out injured. Is one of the guys playing a wing and high HF ahead of Kelly and he does some really good things with his limited touches. One of those guys who you'd wish was more involved if he played for your team. Another that wouldn't shock me if he knocked out a 90 this week (maybe not this week against the Dogs but soon). The Dogs matchup not a good one though as could push him out of the team with a bad game. I think his JS and price kind of trump his natural scoring look that he has, basically Bergman for 15k more offers both of those at the same or higher level and better JS prospects right now and McCreery has more job security and playing is the single best way to have a chance of making cash but he's that one that almost no one will pick that could be the "why didn't we grab him?" guy in a few weeks.

Treacy - See above, honestly still might like him the most outside Bergman in this group and most would have Bergman given he was one of the stronger starting options and the best downgrade option by a fair chunk last week for anyone who didn't start him, so that leaves Treacy and his flexibility as a very strong case.

Depends who you've got at R2. Grundy or Neale depending on your setup. Grundy will probably still fall in price a bit. Neale, assuming that he's back, has a BE of 98. Will every team let him run around like Essendon though?
