With Mansell looking like not an ideal rookie, would people consider going super early on Stocker? Breaks basic SC rules. Will he get a decent run of games? Is expensive too.

He definitely should stay in the team for a good run of games but we don’t have a good history lately of doing that with the younger players. If he was a bit cheaper I’d consider it, but I did get burnt bringing Jones in last week when Clark got dropped

Yeah, I avoided Jones. I am tempted with Stocker, bit surprised he hasn't been in the team before this stage.

Why on earth does a competition with an even amount of teams have byes in round 2?? Especially given the possibility of matches being postponed due to COVID restrictions at any time, it seems insane to me to not give the comp the flexibility of using them later on...

Because there's more teams than rounds, I think every team gets 3 byes over the season atm

Think you are being optimistic on Dunkley, more likely we will need to trade.

Tex stays an extra week, fingers crossed on the calf. Playing Hawks helps. With Dunkley/Danger gone, our forward lines are thin on premiums and with recently acquired Waterman now playing VFL, relying on rookies is becoming tricky.

Think one rookie this week is now required to allow a Dunkley trade and a potential upgrade of another rookie next week.

Can anyone shed light on Bergman's chance of playing again?

I'm thinking of Campbell > McCreery but Bergman being dropped would definitely lock me into it.

Campbell most likely sub, the other 3 emergencies named in the vfl.

Being named first emergency is usually not a good sign so this news seems to be confirming fears.

Why the heck would you manage someone only then to make them the sub? Are you resting them or not? Given Heens is back in the side he will probably find another freak way to injure himself and Campbell plays a good portion of the game anyway.

What that portion is ***k so useless for looping Scott and could lose further cash if registering a single digit score.

Was considering holding on my bench but if named the sub he's gone for me.

I'll be bringing him in AFL Fantasy this week like a bunch others where he is one of the most traded in players. But you're right probably not an option in SC next week unless he miraculously tons up against the Swans later today.
