Still have money in the bank after a Dunkley downgrade so the Frederick news makes things a bit easier if anything.

Gulden/Clark to Brayshaw and Rowe to May (via Cox DPP).

Got a tonne of deadwood rookies to get rid of though...need the coaches to keep blooding new rookies.

shattered... worst outcome Frederick out.

Really need to get Rowe out of my team. Can't got Brayshaw now either now either.
Was intending to do:
Rowe to Frederick
Clark to Brayshaw

Stuck...

I currently have 6 premium backman. Would anyone consider getting Daniel and leaving Laird in the mids permanently?
Can you just get Parks/Murphy/Murray instead of Frederick?

So what rookie do we look at now?

Will Murray (Ade) or Nathan Murphy (Coll) hold their spots?

Do we take Macrae still at a cheap price?

Or go early on RCD?
Murphy will play. Trained in the white jumpers at main training this week again.
Fin Macrae and Callum Brown looking at risk of missing (wearing black). Tyler Brown looks like being in.
Given injuries, some players wearing the non-preferred may still play though as we can't create 2 teams of 22 at training.

Yeah... i could... who seems most likely to get a few games? I saw Murray last game and wasn't that impressed. Murphy was impressive but I have too many Collingwood rookies already. Whats the go with Parks?

Yeah I am not considering Murray myself. From what I have seen, people are comfortable with Murphy JS.

Parks doesn't have great scoring potential as he is an old-style defender but absolutely love his JS and can't see him being dropped for the foreseeable future. Newman is the only one that puts a little risk on Parks (He returned for a long injury in VFL last weekend, expect him to be back next week against Melbourne or in 2 weeks against Hawks). However, I think Newman will come in for the expense of someone other than Parks. Parks has been extremely important in his 3 games for us as he allows Doc to play much more attacking which suits the team much better. I personally am very likely to trade him in this week.

Damn that Fred news is a real spanner in the works, guessing RCD will become quite popular this round

Frederick has done a Highmore.

Don't think Murray (Ade) or (Murphy) are viable replacements for Chapman for me. They'd be in D6, with D7 being Mansell, and D8 Highmore.

Mansell is already a slow-burn rookie that is in danger of getting dropped any time soon. Murray and Murphy look like slow-burn 40-60s types...will be hard to off-load them, upgrade them or move them to bench unless there is an unexpected spike game, or unless Highmore gets named.

Attractive point with both are the R14 byes...if they get an extended run through the byes then their 40-60 scores would be invaluable in R12-13.

Might just loop Mansell tonight and hope for a good score, and re-evaluate Chapman's replacement next week. Might just go straight to a fallen premo for D6.

Well Fred out basically confirmed my own worries about his JS. Makes this week and next fairly straight forward.

Chapman > May and just sit on that.

Next week likely kosi > RCD and gulden up to a premium mid. That way can get laird back into the backline

1) Bench Rowe (for another rookie e.g. Campbell/Jones/FMac, if any play). Rowe prob won't get to his BE, but mightn't bleed too many $s?). Save a trade.

2) Rowe to Dusty now (I'll cop the Dusty $ drop, but get him in now and be done with it). I'm intrigued by Hall, but can't do it to myself.

Any thoughts? (#2 looks to obvious/easy 😝)

The thing with bringing in Murphy is I don't want another Rnd14 BYE player.
Parks has the better BYE but I don't think he can score as well as Murphy. Also can we actually trust Teague to keep playing him?

Easy fix to all of this is upgrade Chapman to May but I want to get in Walsh this week lol

Round 14 bye rookie isn't bad, you can upgrade him to a premium that has already had their bye.

Is anyone thinking Jamaine Jones from WCE? 213k coming off a 119 game last week could potentially be a downgrade option to generate some quick cash?
I like the outside the box thinking.

What led to the spike score? @GrainFedBeef @Lost In The Sky @Rumbler any ideas guys? I noticed he was getting about 5 touches a game until last week where he got 21. Role change or just an outlier?
