Still holding Highmore. How much long should he be held? Just know the week I trade him he will be back.
I think he's spent to be honest, hes not going to be ahead of Frawley and Geary in the coming weeks and already cant get a game.

Reckon I’ll go against my own rules and dump Highmore this week. Defence looking a nightmare through the byes and will hold Jones over him.

Highmore & Gulden - Poulter & Ridley looks pretty likely. Allows me to avoid a donut this week and still leaves 130k in the bank for upgrades. Means I miss a base price RCD though but it is what it is.

TRADE TEMPLATE
How your bye round trades could work:
ROUND 12

Trade Tom Powell (projected price $421k) and Jacob Koschitzke ($281,100) to rookies from teams playing in Round 12. Bank $500,000 for upgrades in Round 13. You could also look to offload Tyler Brockman ($172,700), although the cash injection won't be as great. It's going to be time to make a big call on Matthew Flynn ($378k). Flynn would be perfect cover for Grundy-Gawn in Round 14, but Shane Mumford might play that round. These downgrades would give you two or three extra rookies to be part of your Round 12 best 18 score and a huge bounty to target premiums in Round 13.
ROUND 13
Trade Anthony Scott (projected price $303k) to a Round 12 bye player such as Tom Mitchell, Josh Kelly, Travis Boak or Cam Guthrie. Matthew Rowell would be a leading target but is unlikely to be back in time for Round 13 from a knee injury. This is the round to move on Nik Cox ($281k), Lachlan McNeil ($269k) and even consider trading Riley Collier-Dawkins ($245k). Ideally, you would build your bank again to target Round 13 bye premiums in Round 14. You could do this by trading Cox, McNeil or Collier-Dawkins to a rookie.
ROUND 14
Trade James Jordon (projected price $362k), James Rowe ($284k) and Chad Warner ($330k) - if they're still in your team of course. The same goes for Errol Gulden and Braeden Campbell if you've stuck by the young Swans. If you banked cash in Round 13 (one up, two down for example) you could trade in two uber premiums this week. Some of the best scorers in KFC SuperCoach will be ripe for the picking after their Round 13 bye. Think Sam Walsh, Jack Macrae, Marcus Bontempelli, Zach Merrett and Jarryd Lyons. If you've been waiting patiently and watching Dustin Martin's price fall, this is the week to jump on the Tigers champ as well. Martin averaged 103 after the bye in 2019.

Like everyone else I'm totally at a loss as to who to trade out here? Would like to grab at least one of RCD/Poulter, maybe even both.

Another really tough week at the trade table.

Tough position.

Reckon you take a donut for Murphy this week, and hope he returns in R10. Or hope that Highmore gets named this round.

Luke Ryan - maybe you can use this as an opportunity to sideways out to a premium defender at $430k-470k. This way, you gain 90-100 points this round, plus also unlock $100k-$130k. Also, the trade may also allow you to re-balance your bye round structure in defence (Ryan is one of three R14 premo defenders in your team). Trades that accomplish multiple purposes are ideal.

Also of consideration is that while Ryan is listed as 1 week, if he doesn't return in R10 then you are facing another donut.

Gulden and Warner comfortable outs from your team imo. As to whether you paint the fence or double down...even if you double down you have good loopholing options for your new rookies. And if the forward rookies start to get ugly then you have the break glass option of flicking Flynn, moving Treacy to ruck, and bringing in a premium forward, all for the cost of one trade.

You are in a pretty good situation, nice team.

Aggressive move to set up upgrades next round would be Warner/Gulden to RCD/Poulter. Then push Scott to premo and maybe a second upgrade of Flynn to premo depending on your targets.

Thanks for the replies all!

Always nice to get some fresh eyes on the team. I'm a little scared about removing the Sydney boys given they're playing the Pies but the double downgrade looks tough to pass up.

Holding vs trading Bolton?
I've kept Dangerfield and got burnt, have kept Cripps and been burnt, kept Taranto and he's coming good...

19 trades before this week and am aiming for a top 1k finish. Just inside the top-10k at the moment.

Either I trade him for Impey to improve my bye structure, or I shove him to the bench and bring in a mid premium this week (Cripps at M5 is hurting).

Option 1:
Bolton & Gulden --> Impey and Poulter (300k itb)

Option 2:
Kosi & Gulden --> Bowes and Poulter (better for byes, but def finished without Ridley/Lloyd) 42k itb
Kosi & Gulden --> Ridley and Poulter (worse bye structure, better finished def) 40k itb

Option 3:
Gulden & Powell --> mid prem and Poulter.
*Considering Mitchell/JKelly/Duncan for byes or otherwise Lyons who I think is the best I can afford.

Any thoughts or alternative ideas will be much appreciated.
