Any idea when Butters is likely to return? I've read the updates about nerve surgery etc and the article saying we will have an idea of a timeframe in coming weeks...

Hoping someone knows a bit more a week further down the road!

Fremantle midfielder Andrew Brayshaw is likely to make his return from a calf injury for Freo’s round 11 clash with Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.

After missing round 10, executive general manager of football Peter Bell was confident the 21-year-old would return to the side this weekend.

“Andrew had a really low-grade calf strain that unfortunately kept him out of the game against Sydney, we’re very optimistic that he’ll be available for Port Adelaide,” Bell said.

After trading him in last rd as an expensive donut to play. This is music to my ears. 😁

The messaging coming out of Port suggests that we shouldn't expect him back anytime soon. Back end of the year at best I think.

Just got to pray the big fellas got 3 more weeks in him then I might sling shot him! Don’t think it’s going to end well
I love this man so much  Very nervous about that foot though. Anyone who knows about foot injuries, is it likely he misses a fair chunk at some stage if it gets worse, or is it more likely he misses one or two games every so often? I'm not ready to trade him anytime soon

Any view as to when Neale is back?
From last week

https://www.sen.com.au/news/2021/05/18/brisbane-coach-provides-update-on-injured-midfield-pair/

Brisbane Lions coach Chris Fagan says Lachie Neale could make his return from injury before the club’s bye.

The 2020 Brownlow Medallist underwent ankle surgery after suffering a syndesmosis injury against Carlton, but Fagan revealed Neale could be fit to play as early as Brisbane’s Round 13 clash against ladder-leading Melbourne.

“Lachie (Neale) was running today and running well,” he said on Sportsday.

“He’s trying to get back for our game against Melbourne in three weeks’ time and then we have a bye, probably for me it’s more realistic that he comes back after the bye but he’s pretty determined to get back before then.

“He is going well, so it’s probably closer to six weeks than eight weeks that was the range we were given when he was first injured.”
