Will be interesting to see if he bowls Cartwight as I would have preferred that play to sneak in a few overs rather than bowling himself out this early to ensure the Scorchers do not exploit the inexperienced bowling lineup later in the innings.

I've always loved this idea with footy.

A cricket ball is a bit differnt

I know that a cricket ball changes over time, and when it gets hit out of the ground/gets damaged they try to replace it with one of a similar number of overs. Maybe just replace it with a new ball each time. Sometimes that will help the batting team, sometimes the fielding team. Add a bit more strategy to things. Both teams get a turn to bat anyway, so it's not favouring one team over the other.
